Ten times now you have reproached me; shamelessly you attack me.

You have already accused me many times. You have attacked me without feeling any shame.

These ten times you have cast reproach upon me; are you not ashamed to wrong me?

You have already insulted me ten times. You should be ashamed of treating me so badly.

You have humiliated me ten times now, and you mistreat me without shame.

These ten times you have insulted me; You are not ashamed to wrong me.

These ten times have ye reproached me: Ye are not ashamed that ye deal hardly with me.

Yet your father has deceived me and changed my wages ten times, but God did not allow him to hurt me.

My breath is offensive to my wife, And I am repulsive to the children of my own body.

I have become a stranger to my brothers, And an alien to my mother’s children;

Are the consolations of God too small for you, And the word spoken gently with you?Why does your heart carry you away, And what do your eyes wink at,

And in all matters of wisdom and understanding about which the king examined them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers who were in all his realm.

Yes, you cast off fear, And restrain prayer before God.For your iniquity teaches your mouth, And you choose the tongue of the crafty.Your own mouth condemns you, and not I; Yes, your own lips testify against you.

Or shall the rock be removed from its place?“ The light of the wicked indeed goes out, And the flame of his fire does not shine.The light is dark in his tent, And his lamp beside him is put out.The steps of his strength are shortened, And his own counsel casts him down.For he is cast into a net by his own feet, And he walks into a snare.The net takes him by the heel, And a snare lays hold of him.A noose is hidden for him on the ground, And a trap for him in the road.Terrors frighten him on every side, And drive him to his feet.His strength is starved, And destruction is ready at his side.It devours patches of his skin; The firstborn of death devours his limbs.He is uprooted from the shelter of his tent, And they parade him before the king of terrors.They dwell in his tent who are none of his; Brimstone is scattered on his dwelling.His roots are dried out below, And his branch withers above.The memory of him perishes from the earth, And he has no name among the renowned.He is driven from light into darkness, And chased out of the world.He has neither son nor posterity among his people, Nor any remaining in his dwellings.Those in the west are astonished at his day, As those in the east are frightened.Surely such are the dwellings of the wicked, And this is the place of him who does not know God.”

When I have cut off your supply of bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven, and they shall bring back your bread by weight, and you shall eat and not be satisfied.

If iniquity were in your hand, and you put it far away, And would not let wickedness dwell in your tents;

I have seen the foolish taking root, But suddenly I cursed his dwelling place.His sons are far from safety, They are crushed in the gate, And there is no deliverer.

because all these men who have seen My glory and the signs which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have put Me to the test now these ten times, and have not heeded My voice,

Is not your reverence your confidence? And the integrity of your ways your hope?“ Remember now, who ever perished being innocent? Or where were the upright ever cut off?Even as I have seen, Those who plow iniquity And sow trouble reap the same.By the blast of God they perish, And by the breath of His anger they are consumed.The roaring of the lion, The voice of the fierce lion, And the teeth of the young lions are broken.The old lion perishes for lack of prey, And the cubs of the lioness are scattered.

Should your empty talk make men hold their peace? And when you mock, should no one rebuke you?

If your sons have sinned against Him, He has cast them away for their transgression.If you would earnestly seek God And make your supplication to the Almighty,If you were pure and upright, Surely now He would awake for you, And prosper your rightful dwelling place.

Joseph saw his brothers and recognized them, but he acted as a stranger to them and spoke roughly to them. Then he said to them,“ Where do you come from?” And they said,“ From the land of Canaan to buy food.”
