you should fear the sword yourselves; for wrath will bring punishment by the sword, and then you will know that there is judgment.”

But you should be afraid when God comes to judge you. He’ll be angry. He’ll punish you with his sword. Then you will know that he is the Judge.”

上帝必鞫萬事、彰其隱微、或善或惡、加以賞罰。

維爾小子、幼而嬉戲、其志愉快、隨心所欲、隨目所視、當思上帝必鞫爾、

爾既明上帝降罰之故、代為剖析、豈可妄辭、豈可譫語、豈可偏視。

被鞫兮無攸利、不得與義者聚。

惡人受刑、而遭殺戮、義者喜悅、足履其血。人曰為善者降之祥、上帝帝天下兮。

耶和華坐其位、悠久無疆兮、是與非辨之詳兮、

勿議人、則不見議、爾議人若何、則見議亦如是、爾度人若何、則見度亦如是、

上帝責爾鞫爾者、豈畏爾哉。

遇患難無望拯救、臨白刃不能倖免。

居上位者、眾宜服之、非上帝則無居位者、凡居位者、皆上帝所命、與居位者敵、是為逆上帝命、逆者必受罪、有司不令善人畏、使惡人畏、爾欲不畏居位者、惟行善、可得其褒、居位者、上帝僕也、原以益爾、行惡宜畏之、以其為上帝僕、柄不徒操、刑加作惡之人、

兄弟勿譭謗、謗兄弟議兄弟者、猶謗律法議律法、爾若議法、則弗遵法、乃自為士師、立法者惟一、能釋罪、能加刑、爾為誰而議他人乎、
