For God will evaluate every deed, including every secret thing, whether good or evil.

Rejoice, young man, while you are young, and let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth. Follow the impulses of your heart and the desires of your eyes, but know that God will judge your motives and actions.

Will you speak wickedly on God’s behalf? Will you speak deceitfully for him?Will you show him partiality? Will you argue the case for God?Would it turn out well if he would examine you? Or as one deceives a man would you deceive him?He would certainly rebuke you if you secretly showed partiality!Would not his splendor terrify you and the fear he inspires fall on you?

For this reason the wicked cannot withstand judgment, nor can sinners join the assembly of the godly.

The godly will rejoice when they see vengeance carried out; they will bathe their feet in the blood of the wicked.Then observers will say,“ Yes indeed, the godly are rewarded! Yes indeed, there is a God who judges in the earth!”

But the LORD rules forever; he reigns in a just manner.

“ Do not judge so that you will not be judged.For by the standard you judge you will be judged, and the measure you use will be the measure you receive.

Is it because of your piety that he rebukes you and goes to judgment with you?

He does not expect to escape from darkness; he is marked for the sword;

Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except by God’s appointment, and the authorities that exist have been instituted by God.So the person who resists such authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will incur judgment( for rulers cause no fear for good conduct but for bad). Do you desire not to fear authority? Do good and you will receive its commendation,for it is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be in fear, for it does not bear the sword in vain. It is God’s servant to administer retribution on the wrongdoer.

Do not speak against one another, brothers and sisters. He who speaks against a fellow believer or judges a fellow believer speaks against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but its judge.But there is only one who is lawgiver and judge– the one who is able to save and destroy. On the other hand, who are you to judge your neighbor?
