因為人所作的一切事、上帝都必審判；為了一切隱藏的事，或好或壞，人人都必受審。

青年人哪，你在幼年時快樂吧；在青年日子使你的心高興吧；按你的心所願行的而行，按你的眼所愛看的而看吧。不過你要知道、為了這一切、上帝總要使你受審判。

你們要為上帝說不義的話麼？要為他說詭詐的話語麼？你們要徇他的情面麼？要為上帝辯訴麼？他察透你們來，這哪裏是好呢？或是像人愚弄了人，你們也要照樣愚弄他麼？你們若暗中徇情面，他一定會譴責你們。他的尊嚴、哪能不使你們驚惶失措呢？畏懼他的心、哪能不落到你們身上呢？

因此當審判時、惡人必站不住：在義人會中、罪人必立不住腳。

義人見有報復之前、就歡喜；他必在惡人的血中去洗腳。因此人必說：『義人真地有好的果報；地上真地有上帝在施行判罰。』

但是永恆主永久坐着為王；他為了審判早已立定寶座；

『你們別論斷人了，免得被論斷。因為你們怎樣論斷人，也必怎樣被論斷；你們用甚麼量器量給人，也必照甚麼量器量給你們。

他責打你、同你爭訟，哪是因你的敬畏心呢？

他不信他能從黑暗中轉回；他是被保留着要給刀劍宰殺的。

居上位有政權的、人人都當順服。因為沒有政權不是出於上帝的：一切政權都由上帝所定。故此敵擋政權、就是反對上帝所規定；反對的必自招處刑。作官的原不是叫有善行的懼怕，乃是叫有惡行的懼怕。你願意不懼怕政權麼？須要行善，就可以從它得讚許；因為它是為你的好處而做上帝僕役的。但你若行惡，就該懼怕；因為它並不是徒然佩帶刀劍權力；它是上帝的僕役，是刑罰者，使上帝之義怒臨到作惡之人的。

弟兄們，別彼此毁謗了。毁謗弟兄或論斷弟兄的、就是毁謗律法，論斷律法。你若論斷律法，就不是遵行律法者，而是論斷者審判者了，只有一位是立法者是論斷者，就是能救人能滅人的那一位。你是誰，你這論斷鄰舍的？
