人所作的每一件事，連一切隱藏的事，無論是善是惡，神都必審問。

年輕人哪！你在幼年時要快樂，在壯年的日子，要使你的心歡暢；順著你心所願的，眼所見的去行。不過，你要知道，為了這一切事，神必審問你。

你們要為神說不義的言語嗎？你們要為他說詭詐的話嗎？你們要徇神的情面嗎？要為神爭辯嗎？他把你們查出來，這是好嗎？人怎樣哄騙人，你們也怎樣哄騙神嗎？你們若暗中徇情面，他必然責備你們。他的尊嚴不是叫你們懼怕嗎？他的驚嚇不是臨到你們嗎？

因此，在審判的時候，惡人必站立不住；在義人的團體中，罪人也必這樣。

義人看見仇敵遭報就歡喜；他要在惡人的血中洗自己的腳。因此，人必說：“義人果然有善報；在世上確有一位施行審判的神。”

耶和華卻永遠坐著為王，為了施行審判，他已經設立寶座。

“不可判斷人，免得你們被判斷。你們怎樣判斷人，也必怎樣被判斷；你們用甚麼標準衡量人，也必照樣被衡量。

他是因你敬畏他而責備你，對你施行審判嗎？

他不信他能從黑暗中轉回，自己留給刀劍殺害。

政府的權柄，人人都應當服從。因為沒有一樣權柄不是從神來的；掌權的都是神設立的。所以抗拒掌權的，就是反對神所設立的；反對的人必自招刑罰。執政的不是要使行善的懼怕，而是要使作惡的懼怕。你想不怕掌權的嗎？只要行善，就會得到稱讚；因為他是神的僕役，是對你有益的。但如果你作惡，就應當懼怕；因為他佩劍，不是沒有作用的。他是神的僕役，是向作惡的人施行刑罰的。

弟兄們，不要互相毀謗；人若毀謗弟兄，或判斷弟兄，就是毀謗律法、判斷律法了。如果你判斷律法，就不是實行律法的人，而是審判官了。立法的，審判的，只有一位，就是那能拯救人，也能毀滅人的神；你這判斷鄰舍的，你是誰呢？
