等到安息在尘土中，这指望必下到阴间的门闩那里了。”

这盼望要下到阴间的门闩吗？要一起在尘土中安息吗？”

我的希望会跟我进入阴间，与我同归尘土吗？”

等到安息在尘土中的时候，那些指望必下到阴间的门闩那里。”

等到安息在塵土中，這指望必下到陰間的門閂那裏了。

這盼望要下到陰間的門閂嗎？要一起在塵土中安息嗎？」

這盼望要下到陰間的門閂嗎？要一起在塵土中安息嗎？」

我的希望會跟我進入陰間，與我同歸塵土嗎？」

等到安息在塵土中的時候，那些指望必下到陰間的門閂那裡。”

所指望的要同我下到陰間麼？或是我們要一同落於塵土中呢？』

迨至安寢於土、則所望者、下及陰府之楗而已、

必歸陰府、安寢於土、所望之福、歸於烏有。

既安寢於土、則歸示阿勒示阿勒見七章九節小註之深處矣、或作必下至示阿勒之荒墟必同寢於土中

Will it go down to the gates of death? Will we descend together into the dust?”

Will hope go down to the gates of death with me? Will we go down together into the dust of the grave?”

Will it go down to the bars of Sheol? Shall we descend together into the dust?”

No, my hope will go down with me to the grave. We will rest together in the dust!”

Will it go down to the gates of Sheol, or will we descend together to the dust?

Will it go down with me to Sheol? Shall we together go down into the dust?”

Will they go down to the gates of Sheol? Shall we have rest together in the dust?”

It shall go down to the bars of Sheol, When once there is rest in the dust.

Will it go down to the gates of Sheol, or will we descend together to the dust?

They shall go down to the bars of the pit, when[ our] rest together[ is] in the dust.

Shall it go down with me to the gates of Sheol, or descend together into the dust?”

There the wicked cease from turmoil, and there the weary are at rest.There the prisoners relax together; they do not hear the voice of the oppressor.Small and great are there, and the slave is free from his master.

I went down to the very bottoms of the mountains; the gates of the netherworld barred me in forever; but you brought me up from the Pit, O LORD, my God.

Indeed we felt as if the sentence of death had been passed against us, so that we would not trust in ourselves but in God who raises the dead.

They treat me like those who descend into the grave. I am like a helpless man,adrift among the dead, like corpses lying in the grave, whom you remember no more, and who are cut off from your power.You place me in the lowest regions of the pit, in the dark places, in the watery depths.Your anger bears down on me, and you overwhelm me with all your waves.( Selah)You cause those who know me to keep their distance; you make me an appalling sight to them. I am trapped and cannot get free.

Answer me quickly, LORD! My strength is fading. Do not reject me, or I will join those descending into the grave.

It eats away parts of his skin; the most terrible death devours his limbs.He is dragged from the security of his tent, and marched off to the king of terrors.

“ Look, the grief I experienced was for my benefit. You delivered me from the pit of oblivion. For you removed all my sins from your sight.Indeed Sheol does not give you thanks; death does not praise you. Those who descend into the pit do not anticipate your faithfulness.

Then he said to me,“ Son of man, these bones are all the house of Israel. Look, they are saying,‘ Our bones are dry, our hope has perished; we are cut off.’

He spares a person’s life from corruption, his very life from crossing over the river.Or a person is chastened by pain on his bed, and with the continual strife of his bones,so that his life loathes food, and his soul rejects appetizing fare.His flesh wastes away from sight, and his bones, which were not seen, are easily visible.He draws near to the place of corruption, and his life to the messengers of death.If there is an angel beside him, one mediator out of a thousand, to tell a person what constitutes his uprightness;and if God is gracious to him and says,‘ Spare him from going down to the place of corruption, I have found a ransom for him,’then his flesh is restored like a youth’s; he returns to the days of his youthful vigor.He entreats God, and God delights in him, he sees God’s face with rejoicing, and God restores to him his righteousness.That person sings to others, saying:‘ I have sinned and falsified what is right, but I was not punished according to what I deserved.He redeemed my life from going down to the place of corruption, and my life sees the light!’
