And where[ is] now my hope? as for my hope, who shall see it?

这样，我的盼望在哪里呢？我所盼望的，谁能看见呢？

那么，我的希望在哪里？谁能看到我的希望？

則我所望安在、我所冀者、其孰見之、

我至此、豈復有冀望哉、即有所望、安能遂乎。

則我所冀者安在、所望者孰將見之哉、

where then is my hope— who can see any hope for me?

Then what hope do I have? Who can give me any hope?

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him.
