愿人得与神辩白，如同人与朋友辩白一样；

愿人可与上帝理论，如同人与朋友一样；

愿人可与神理论，如同人与朋友一样；

但愿人与上帝之间有仲裁者，如同人与人之间。

但愿人可以为人与神分辩，正如世人为朋友辩白一样。

願人得與神辯白，如同人與朋友辯白一樣；

願人可與上帝理論，如同人與朋友一樣；

願人可與神理論，如同人與朋友一樣；

但願人與上帝之間有仲裁者，如同人與人之間。

但願人可以為人與神分辯，正如世人為朋友辯白一樣。

但願人得以同上帝辯訴，就如同人跟朋友訴說一樣。

願上帝為人辨冤於其前、並在人之鄰里中、

願得在上帝前、明辨其冤、如與同儕言者然、

願世人得與天主辯論、如人與人辯論然、

on behalf of a man he pleads with God as one pleads for a friend.

He makes his appeal to God to help me as a person pleads for a friend.

that he would argue the case of a man with God, as a son of man does with his neighbor.

I need someone to mediate between God and me, as a person mediates between friends.

I wish that someone might argue for a man with God just as anyone would for a friend.

That one might plead for a man with God As a son of man with his neighbor!

Oh, that one might plead for a man with God, As a man pleads for his neighbor!

That he would maintain the right of a man with God, And of a son of man with his neighbor!

I wish that someone might arbitrate between a man and God just as a man pleads for his friend.

O that one might plead for a man with God, as a man[ pleadeth] for his neighbour!

and he contends with God on behalf of man as a man pleads for his friend.

祸哉，那与造他的主争论的！他不过是地上瓦片中的一块瓦片。泥土岂可对抟弄他的说：“你做什么呢？”所做的物岂可说：“你没有手呢？”

愿他把杖离开我，不使惊惶威吓我。我就说话，也不惧怕他，现在我却不是那样。”

我真要对全能者说话；我愿与神理论。

耶和华又对约伯说：“强辩的岂可与全能者争论吗？与神辩驳的可以回答这些吧！”于是，约伯回答耶和华说：“我是卑贱的！我用什么回答你呢？只好用手捂口。我说了一次，再不回答；说了两次，就不再说。”

惟愿有一位肯听我！（看哪，在这里有我所划的押，愿全能者回答我！）

你这个人哪，你是谁，竟敢向神强嘴呢？受造之物岂能对造他的说：“你为什么这样造我呢？”

惟愿我能知道在哪里可以寻见神，能到他的台前，我就在他面前将我的案件陈明，满口辩白。我必知道他回答我的言语，明白他向我所说的话。他岂用大能与我争辩吗？必不这样！他必理会我。在他那里正直人可以与他辩论；这样，我必永远脱离那审判我的。

这样，你呼叫，我就回答；或是让我说话，你回答我。

先前所有的，早已起了名，并知道何为人，他也不能与那比自己力大的相争。
