但愿人可以为人与神分辩，正如世人为朋友辩白一样。

愿人得与神辩白，如同人与朋友辩白一样；

愿人可与上帝理论，如同人与朋友一样；

愿人可与神理论，如同人与朋友一样；

但愿人与上帝之间有仲裁者，如同人与人之间。

願人得與神辯白，如同人與朋友辯白一樣；

願人可與上帝理論，如同人與朋友一樣；

願人可與神理論，如同人與朋友一樣；

但願人與上帝之間有仲裁者，如同人與人之間。

願上帝為人辨冤於其前、並在人之鄰里中、

願得在上帝前、明辨其冤、如與同儕言者然、

願世人得與天主辯論、如人與人辯論然、

He makes his appeal to God to help me as a person pleads for a friend.

that he would argue the case of a man with God, as a son of man does with his neighbor.

I need someone to mediate between God and me, as a person mediates between friends.

I wish that someone might argue for a man with God just as anyone would for a friend.

That one might plead for a man with God As a son of man with his neighbor!

That he would maintain the right of a man with God, And of a son of man with his neighbor!

I wish that someone might arbitrate between a man and God just as a man pleads for his friend.

那与他的创造主争论的，有祸了！他不过是地上瓦片中的一片瓦片，泥土能对陶匠说：‘你在作什么？’或你所作成的说：‘他没有手’吗？

愿他使他的刑杖离开我，愿他可畏的威严不惊吓我，我就说话，也不怕他，因为我本身并不是这种人。”

但我要对全能者说话，我愿与神辩论。

耶和华又对约伯说：“挑剔是非的，怎能与全能者争辩呢？责备神的，回答这个问题吧。”于是约伯回答耶和华说：“我是微小的，可以回答你什么呢？我只好用手掩口。这说了一次，不再回答；说了二次就不再说。”

但愿有一位肯听我的，看哪！这是我所划的押，愿全能者回答我，愿那与我争讼的写好状词。

你这个人哪，你是谁，竟敢跟神顶嘴呢？被造的怎么可以对造他的说：“你为什么把我做成这个样子呢？”

但愿我知道怎样能寻见神，能到他的台前来。好让我在他面前呈上我的案件，满口辩论向他申诉；知道他要回答我的话，明白他对我说什么。他会以大能与我相争吗？必不会这样，他必关怀我。在他那里正直人可以与他彼此辩论，这样，我就必永远摆脱那审判我的。

这样，你一呼叫，我就回答，或是让我说话，你回答我。

已经存在的，早已有了名称；大家都知道人是怎样的；人绝对无法与比自己强的抗辩。
