God has delivered me to the ungodly, And turned me over to the hands of the wicked.

天主以我交於愚妄人、以我陷於惡人之手、

God has turned me over to the ungodly and thrown me into the clutches of the wicked.

God has turned me over to sinful people. He has handed me over to them.

God gives me up to the ungodly and casts me into the hands of the wicked.

God has handed me over to sinners. He has tossed me into the hands of the wicked.

God hands me over to the unjust; he throws me to the wicked.

God hands me over to criminals, And tosses me into the hands of the wicked.

God delivereth me to the ungodly, And casteth me into the hands of the wicked.

God hands me over to unjust men; He throws me into the hands of the wicked.

God hath delivered me to the ungodly, and turned me over into the hands of the wicked.

God abandons me to evil men, and throws me into the hands of wicked men.

God delivers me to the ungodly, and casts me into the hands of the wicked.

And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a wide place.

Do not deliver me to the will of my adversaries; For false witnesses have risen against me, And such as breathe out violence.

And lest I should be exalted above measure by the abundance of the revelations, a thorn in the flesh was given to me, a messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I be exalted above measure.

Behold, the wicked brings forth iniquity; Yes, he conceives trouble and brings forth falsehood.

So Satan went out from the presence of the Lord, and struck Job with painful boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.

Now there was a day when his sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house;and a messenger came to Job and said,“ The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them,when the Sabeans raided them and took them away— indeed they have killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”While he was still speaking, another also came and said,“ The fire of God fell from heaven and burned up the sheep and the servants, and consumed them; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”While he was still speaking, another also came and said,“ The Chaldeans formed three bands, raided the camels and took them away, yes, and killed the servants with the edge of the sword; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”While he was still speaking, another also came and said,“ Your sons and daughters were eating and drinking wine in their oldest brother’s house,and suddenly a great wind came from across the wilderness and struck the four corners of the house, and it fell on the young people, and they are dead; and I alone have escaped to tell you!”

Then he delivered Him to them to be crucified. Then they took Jesus and led Him away.

And you have shown this day how you have dealt well with me; for when the Lord delivered me into your hand, you did not kill me.

For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all.
