不虔之輩、必無果實、貪賄之幕、必被焚燬、

偽善之人、家必蕭條、貪賄之徒、室必焚燬。

偽善或作作惡之輩、必零落無後、貪賄者之室、必被火焚、

For the company of the godless will be barren, and fire will consume the tents of those who love bribes.

People who are ungodly won’t have any children. Fire will burn up the tents of people who accept money from those who want special favors.

For the godless are barren. Their homes, enriched through bribery, will burn.

For the company of the godless will have no children, and fire will consume the tents of those who offer bribes.

For the company of the godless is barren, And fire consumes the tents of the corrupt.

For the company of hypocrites will be barren, And fire will consume the tents of bribery.

The sinners in Zion are afraid; trembling has seized the godless:“ Who among us can dwell with the consuming fire? Who among us can dwell with everlasting burnings?”He who walks righteously and speaks uprightly, who despises the gain of oppressions, who shakes his hands, lest they hold a bribe, who stops his ears from hearing of bloodshed and shuts his eyes from looking on evil,

Is not your evil abundant? There is no end to your iniquities.For you have exacted pledges of your brothers for nothing and stripped the naked of their clothing.You have given no water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.The man with power possessed the land, and the favored man lived in it.You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless were crushed.

For what is the hope of the godless when God cuts him off, when God takes away his life?

“ The godless in heart cherish anger; they do not cry for help when he binds them.

because I delivered the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to help him.The blessing of him who was about to perish came upon me, and I caused the widow’s heart to sing for joy.I put on righteousness, and it clothed me; my justice was like a robe and a turban.I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame.I was a father to the needy, and I searched out the cause of him whom I did not know.I broke the fangs of the unrighteous and made him drop his prey from his teeth.

Those who hate you will be clothed with shame, and the tent of the wicked will be no more.”

The tents of robbers are at peace, and those who provoke God are secure, who bring their god in their hand.

and will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

If iniquity is in your hand, put it far away, and let not injustice dwell in your tents.
