其言曰、惡人終身勞苦、一生之日、即為強暴所積之年、

其言曰、作惡者畢生悚懼、強暴者不知死亡之何日。

其言曰、作惡者悚懼悚懼或作痛苦終身、天主為強暴者所定之年數亦若此、

All his days the wicked man suffers torment, the ruthless man through all the years stored up for him.

Sinful people always suffer pain. Mean people suffer all their lives.

You have fattened your hearts in a day of slaughter.You have condemned, you have murdered the righteous, who does not resist you.

Why does the Almighty not reserve times for judgment? Why do those who know him never see his days?

This is a wicked man’s lot from God, the inheritance the ruthless receive from the Almighty.

Then I’ll say to myself,“ You have many goods stored up for many years. Take it easy; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.”’“ But God said to him,‘ You fool! This very night your life is demanded of you. And the things you have prepared— whose will they be?’“ That’s how it is with the one who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”

You return mankind to the dust, saying,“ Return, descendants of Adam.”For in your sight a thousand years are like yesterday that passes by, like a few hours of the night.

This is an evil in all that is done under the sun: there is one fate for everyone. In addition, the hearts of people are full of evil, and madness is in their hearts while they live; after that they go to the dead.

For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together with labor pains until now.

Teach us to number our days carefully so that we may develop wisdom in our hearts.
