智者豈可以虛識為對、以東風充懷乎、

寧有吸凄風、吐支辭、而得為哲人乎。

智慧者豈以虛辭而答、豈使東風盈其胸懷、或作豈以虛辭而答乎使東風盈於懷豈得稱智慧人乎

Should not the multitude of words be answered? And should a man full of talk be justified?Should thy boastings make men hold their peace? And when thou mockest, shall no man make thee ashamed?

What ye know, the same do I know also: I am not inferior unto you.

Who is wise and understanding among you? let him show by his good life his works in meekness of wisdom.
