what the wise have declared, hiding nothing received from their ancestors

I’ll tell you what those who are wise have said. They don’t hide anything they’ve received from their people of long ago.

( what wise men have told, without hiding it from their fathers,

And it is confirmed by the reports of wise men who have heard the same thing from their fathers—

what the wise have declared and not concealed, that came from their ancestors,

What wise people have told, And have not concealed from their fathers,

What wise men have told, Not hiding anything received from their fathers,

( Which wise men have told From their fathers, and have not hid it;

Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid[ it]:

what wise men declare, hiding nothing, from the tradition of their ancestors,

( which wise men have told by their fathers, and have not hidden it;

For ask the previous generation, and pay attention to what their fathers discovered,

things we have heard and known and that our fathers have passed down to us.We must not hide them from their children, but must tell a future generation the praises of the Lord, His might, and the wonderful works He has performed.He established a testimony in Jacob and set up a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers to teach to their childrenso that a future generation— children yet to be born— might know. They were to rise and tell their children

Even when I am old and gray, God, do not abandon me. Then I will proclaim Your power to another generation, Your strength to all who are to come.

The living, only the living can thank You, as I do today; a father will make Your faithfulness known to children.

Both the gray-haired and the elderly are with us, men older than your father.
