我將示爾、爾其聽之、我所見者、我必述之、

吾試以所見告爾、汝其聽之。

我有所示爾、爾其細聽、我欲述所見者、

“ Listen to me and I will explain to you; let me tell you what I have seen,

I will shew thee, hear me; and that[ which] I have seen I will declare;

“ I will show you, listen to me; that which I have seen I will declare

If only you would keep completely silent! For you, that would be wisdom.“ Listen now to my argument, and be attentive to my lips’ contentions.

“ Be patient with me a little longer and I will instruct you, for I still have words to speak on God’s behalf.

“ But now, O Job, listen to my words, and hear everything I have to say!

“ Listen to my words, you wise men; hear me, you learned men.

Look, we have investigated this, so it is true. Hear it, and apply it for your own good.”
