使你的灵反对神，也任你的口发这言语？

以致你的灵反对上帝，你的口说出这样的言语呢？

以致你的灵反对神，你的口说出这样的言语呢？

以致你向上帝发怒，口出恶言？

以致你的心灵转过来抗拒神，从你的口中竟发出这样的话？

使你的靈反對神，也任你的口發這言語？

以致你的靈反對上帝，你的口說出這樣的言語呢？

以致你的靈反對神，你的口說出這樣的言語呢？

以致你向上帝發怒，口出惡言？

以致你的心靈轉過來抗拒神，從你的口中竟發出這樣的話？

以致你的氣針對着上帝，而讓你的口發出這樣的話語呢？

致爾專心逆上帝、任口出言詞、

心逆上帝、口述妄言。

爾竟向天主發怒、口出妄言、

so that you vent your rage against God and pour out such words from your mouth?

Why do you get so angry with God? Why do words like those pour out of your mouth?

that you turn your spirit against God and bring such words out of your mouth?

that you turn against God and say all these evil things?

as you turn your anger against God and allow such words to leave your mouth?

That you can turn your spirit against God And produce such words from your mouth?

That you turn your spirit against God, And let such words go out of your mouth?

That against God thou turnest thy spirit, And lettest words go out of thy mouth?

That thou turnest thy spirit against God, and lettest[ such] words go out of thy mouth?

when you turn your rage against God and allow such words to escape from your mouth?

That you turn your spirit against God, and let such words go out of your mouth?

for we all stumble in many ways. If anyone does not stumble in what he says, he is a mature man who is also able to control his whole body.Now when we put bits into the mouths of horses to make them obey us, we also guide the whole animal.And consider ships: Though very large and driven by fierce winds, they are guided by a very small rudder wherever the will of the pilot directs.So too, though the tongue is a small part of the body, it boasts great things. Consider how large a forest a small fire ignites.And the tongue is a fire. The tongue, a world of unrighteousness, is placed among the parts of our bodies. It pollutes the whole body, sets the course of life on fire, and is set on fire by hell.

For he has stretched out his hand against God and has arrogantly opposed the Almighty.He rushes headlong at Him with his thick, studded shields.Though his face is covered with fat and his waistline bulges with it,

God is wise and all-powerful. Who has opposed Him and come out unharmed?

Is it good for You to oppress, to reject the work of Your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from deceitful speech.

For the mind-set of the flesh is hostile to God because it does not submit itself to God’s law, for it is unable to do so.Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

The tents of robbers are safe, and those who provoke God are secure; God’s power provides this.

“ Your words against Me are harsh,” says the Lord. Yet you ask:“ What have we spoken against You?”

If anyone thinks he is religious without controlling his tongue, then his religion is useless and he deceives himself.
