水流剝石、浪湧衝沙、爾絕人之望、亦若是、

霤穿石則漸靡、浪淘沙則不見、人而絕望亦若是。

水流消石、浪淘沖沙、主使人絕望亦如此、

As for me, I said in my prosperity,“ I shall never be moved.”You, Yahweh, when you favored me, made my mountain stand strong; but when you hid your face, I was troubled.

I will tell my soul,“ Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years. Take your ease, eat, drink, and be merry.”’“ But God said to him,‘ You foolish one, tonight your soul is required of you. The things which you have prepared— whose will they be?’
