Would it go well if he examined you? Could you deceive him as you would deceive a man?

他查出你们来，这岂是好吗？人欺哄人，你们也要照样欺哄他吗？

他查究你们，这岂是好事吗？人欺骗人，你们也要照样欺骗他吗？

祂查问你们时岂会有好结果？你们岂能像欺骗人一样欺骗祂？

他把你们查出来，这是好吗？人怎样哄骗人，你们也怎样哄骗神吗？

他查出你們來，這豈是好嗎？人欺哄人，你們也要照樣欺哄他嗎？

他查究你們，這豈是好事嗎？人欺騙人，你們也要照樣欺騙他嗎？

他查究你們，這豈是好事嗎？人欺騙人，你們也要照樣欺騙他嗎？

祂查問你們時豈會有好結果？你們豈能像欺騙人一樣欺騙祂？

他把你們查出來，這是好嗎？人怎樣哄騙人，你們也怎樣哄騙神嗎？

他察透你們來，這哪裏是好呢？或是像人愚弄了人，你們也要照樣愚弄他麼？

上帝究爾、豈為美乎、豈可欺上帝、如人之欺人乎、

上帝若加勘問、爾豈能倖免、豈可欺上帝、如欺凡民也哉。

天主若察問爾、爾豈可以為美乎、豈可欺天主如欺人乎、

Would it turn out well if he examined you? Could you deceive him as you might deceive a mortal?

Would it turn out well if he looked you over carefully? Could you fool him as you might fool human beings?

Will it be well with you when he searches you out? Or can you deceive him, as one deceives a man?

What will happen when he finds out what you are doing? Can you fool him as easily as you fool people?

Will it go well when He examines you? Or will you deceive Him as one deceives a man?

Will it be well when He searches you out? Or can you mock Him as one mocks a man?

Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceiveth a man, will ye deceive him?

Would it go well if He examined you? Could you deceive Him as you would deceive a man?

Is it good that he should search you out? or as one man mocketh another, do ye[ so] mock him?

Would it turn out well if he would examine you? Or as one deceives a man would you deceive him?

Is it good that he should search you out? Or as one deceives a man, will you deceive him?

I, the LORD, examine the mind, I test the heart to give to each according to his way, according to what his actions deserve.

Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap,because the one who sows to his flesh will reap destruction from the flesh, but the one who sows to the Spirit will reap eternal life from the Spirit.

If only Job were tested to the limit, because his answers are like those of wicked men.

So now, do not scoff, or your shackles will become stronger. Indeed, I have heard from the Lord GOD of Armies a decree of destruction for the whole land.

Search me, God, and know my heart; test me and know my concerns.

True wisdom and power belong to him. The deceived and the deceiver are his.

Surely mockers surround me, and my eyes must gaze at their rebellion.

wouldn’t God have found this out, since he knows the secrets of the heart?
