爾為上帝出妄語、言詭詞乎、

爾既明上帝降罰之故、代為剖析、豈可妄辭、豈可譫語、豈可偏視。

爾為天主出妄言乎、為天主出誕語乎、

Will you speak wickedly on God’s behalf? Will you speak deceitfully for him?

Will you say evil things in order to help God? Will you tell lies for him?

Will you speak falsely for God and speak deceitfully for him?

“ Are you defending God with lies? Do you make your dishonest arguments for his sake?

Will you speak what is unjust for God, And speak what is deceitful for Him?

Will you speak wickedly for God, And talk deceitfully for Him?

Will ye speak unrighteously for God, And talk deceitfully for him?

Would you testify unjustly on God’s behalf or speak deceitfully for Him?

Will ye speak wickedly for God? and talk deceitfully for him?

Will you speak wickedly on God’s behalf? Will you speak deceitfully for him?

Will you speak unrighteously for God, and talk deceitfully for him?

Indeed, my words are not false; one who has complete knowledge is with you.

Instead, we have renounced secret and shameful things, not acting deceitfully or distorting the word of God, but commending ourselves before God to everyone’s conscience by an open display of the truth.

But if our unrighteousness highlights God’s righteousness, what are we to say? I am using a human argument: Is God unrighteous to inflict wrath?Absolutely not! Otherwise, how will God judge the world?But if by my lie God’s truth abounds to his glory, why am I also still being judged as a sinner?And why not say, just as some people slanderously claim we say,“ Let us do what is evil so that good may come”? Their condemnation is deserved!

Consider: Who has perished when he was innocent? Where have the honest been destroyed?

my lips will not speak unjustly, and my tongue will not utter deceit.

They will ban you from the synagogues. In fact, a time is coming when anyone who kills you will think he is offering service to God.

If a man denounces his friends for a price, the eyes of his children will fail.

Should this abundance of words go unanswered and such a talker be acquitted?Should your babbling put others to silence, so that you can keep on ridiculing with no one to humiliate you?You have said,“ My teaching is sound, and I am pure in your sight.”

I will be partial to no one, and I will not give anyone an undeserved title.For I do not know how to give such titles; otherwise, my Maker would remove me in an instant.
