上帝啊，只要你應允兩件事，我就不躲避你的面，

『只有兩件、請不要向我施行，那我就不躲藏、離開你的面：

惟有二事、莫行於我、則我不避爾面、

所望上帝、一無責我、二無懼我、則我敢自訴。

有二事、求主莫行於我、則我不匿於主前、

“ Only grant me these two things, God, and then I will not hide from you:

Then the kings of the earth and the eminent people, and the commanders and the wealthy and the strong, and every slave and free person hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains;and they* said to the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the sight of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb;

Even darkness is not dark to You, And the night is as bright as the day. Darkness and light are alike to You.

Now they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him,“ Where are you?”He said,“ I heard the sound of You in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself.”

Let Him remove His rod from me, And let not the dread of Him terrify me.Then I would speak and not fear Him; But I am not like that in myself.
