Only grant these two things to me, God, so that I will not have to hide from your presence:

上帝啊，只要你應允兩件事，我就不躲避你的面，

惟有二事、莫行於我、則我不避爾面、

所望上帝、一無責我、二無懼我、則我敢自訴。

有二事、求主莫行於我、則我不匿於主前、

Then the kings of the earth, the nobles, the generals, the rich, the powerful, and every slave and free person hid in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains.And they said to the mountains and to the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one seated on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb,

even the darkness is not dark to you. The night shines like the day; darkness and light are alike to you.

Then the man and his wife heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and they hid from the LORD God among the trees of the garden.So the LORD God called out to the man and said to him,“ Where are you?”And he said,“ I heard you in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked, so I hid.”

Let him take his rod away from me so his terror will no longer frighten me.Then I would speak and not fear him. But that is not the case; I am on my own.
