On that day there shall be no light, cold, or frost.And there shall be a unique day, which is known to the Lord, neither day nor night, but at evening time there shall be light.

Light dawns in the darkness for the upright; he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.

Let us know; let us press on to know the Lord; his going out is sure as the dawn; he will come to us as the showers, as the spring rains that water the earth.”

But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, which shines brighter and brighter until full day.

Rejoice not over me, O my enemy; when I fall, I shall rise; when I sit in darkness, the Lord will be a light to me.I will bear the indignation of the Lord because I have sinned against him, until he pleads my cause and executes judgment for me. And their father gave them an inheritance among their brothers.And after this Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons, and his sons’ sons, four generations.And Job died, an old man, and full of days.

Therefore David blessed the Lord in the presence of all the assembly. And David said:“ Blessed are you, O Lord, the God of Israel our father, forever and ever.

And it had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he had seen the Lord’s Christ.And he came in the Spirit into the temple, and when the parents brought in the child Jesus, to do for him according to the custom of the Law,he took him up in his arms and blessed God and said,“ Lord, now you are letting your servant depart in peace, according to your word;for my eyes have seen your salvationthat you have prepared in the presence of all peoples,a light for revelation to the Gentiles, and for glory to your people Israel.”

They still bear fruit in old age; they are ever full of sap and green,

But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness shall rise with healing in its wings. You shall go out leaping like calves from the stall.
