Then your light will appear like the dawn, and your recovery will come quickly. Your righteousness will go before you, and the LORD’s glory will be your rear guard.At that time, when you call, the LORD will answer; when you cry out, he will say,‘ Here I am.’ If you get rid of the yoke among you, the finger-pointing and malicious speaking,and if you offer yourself to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted one, then your light will shine in the darkness, and your night will be like noonday.

On that day there will be no light; the sunlight and moonlight will diminish.It will be a unique day known only to the LORD, without day or night, but there will be light at evening.

Light shines in the darkness for the upright. He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous.

Let’s strive to know the LORD. His appearance is as sure as the dawn. He will come to us like the rain, like the spring showers that water the land.

The path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, shining brighter and brighter until midday.

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will stand up; though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.Because I have sinned against him, I must endure the LORD’s fury until he champions my cause and establishes justice for me. He will bring me into the light; I will see his salvation.

He owned fourteen thousand sheep and goats, six thousand camels, one thousand yoke of oxen, and one thousand female donkeys.He also had seven sons and three daughters.He named his first daughter Jemimah, his second Keziah, and his third Keren-happuch.No women as beautiful as Job’s daughters could be found in all the land, and their father granted them an inheritance with their brothers.Job lived 140 years after this and saw his children and their children to the fourth generation.Then Job died, old and full of days.

Then David blessed the LORD in the sight of all the assembly. David said, May you be blessed, LORD God of our father Israel, from eternity to eternity.

It had been revealed to him by the Holy Spirit that he would not see death before he saw the Lord’s Messiah.Guided by the Spirit, he entered the temple. When the parents brought in the child Jesus to perform for him what was customary under the law,Simeon took him up in his arms, praised God, and said,Now, Master, you can dismiss your servant in peace, as you promised.For my eyes have seen your salvation.You have prepared it in the presence of all peoples—a light for revelation to the Gentiles and glory to your people Israel.

They will still bear fruit in old age, healthy and green,

But for you who fear my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and playfully jump like calves from the stall.
