That thou enquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?

其勘我咎、察我罪、何其亟耶。

何尋索我尤、究察我罪、

that you must search out my faults and probe after my sin—

So you search for my mistakes. You look for my sin.

that you seek out my iniquity and search for my sin,

that you must quickly probe for my guilt and search for my sin?

that you look for my iniquity and search for my sin,

That You should search for my guilt And carefully seek my sin?

That You should seek for my iniquity And search out my sin,

That thou inquirest after mine iniquity, And searchest after my sin,

that You look for my wrongdoing and search for my sin,

that you must search out my iniquity, and inquire about my sin,

that you inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin?

For now thou numberest my steps: dost thou not watch over my sin?

If I sin, then thou markest me, and thou wilt not acquit me from mine iniquity.If I be wicked, woe unto me; and[ if] I be righteous,[ yet] will I not lift up my head.[ I am] full of confusion; therefore see thou mine affliction;For it increaseth. Thou huntest me as a fierce lion: and again thou shewest thyself marvellous upon me.Thou renewest thy witnesses against me, and increasest thine indignation upon me; changes and war[ are] against me.

Break thou the arm of the wicked and the evil[ man]: seek out his wickedness[ till] thou find none.

Also in thy skirts is found the blood of the souls of the poor innocents: I have not found it by secret search, but upon all these.

And it shall come to pass at that time,[ that] I will search Jerusalem with candles, and punish the men that are settled on their lees: that say in their heart, The LORD will not do good, neither will he do evil.

But Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all[ men],And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man.

Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God.

Shall not God search this out? for he knoweth the secrets of the heart.
