that you look for my iniquity and search for my sin,

其勘我咎、察我罪、何其亟耶。

何尋索我尤、究察我罪、

that you must search out my faults and probe after my sin—

So you search for my mistakes. You look for my sin.

that you seek out my iniquity and search for my sin,

that you must quickly probe for my guilt and search for my sin?

That You should search for my guilt And carefully seek my sin?

That You should seek for my iniquity And search out my sin,

That thou inquirest after mine iniquity, And searchest after my sin,

that You look for my wrongdoing and search for my sin,

That thou enquirest after mine iniquity, and searchest after my sin?

that you must search out my iniquity, and inquire about my sin,

that you inquire after my iniquity, and search after my sin?

For then you would count my steps but would not take note of my sin.

if I sin, you would notice, and would not acquit me of my iniquity.If I am wicked, woe to me! And even if I am righteous, I cannot lift up my head. I am filled with shame and have drunk deeply of my affliction.If I am proud, you hunt me like a lion and again display your miraculous power against me.You produce new witnesses against me and multiply your anger toward me. Hardships assault me, wave after wave.

Break the arm of the wicked, evil person, until you look for his wickedness, but it can’t be found.

Moreover, your skirts are stained with the blood of the innocent poor. You did not catch them breaking and entering. But in spite of all these things

And at that time I will search Jerusalem with lamps and punish those who settle down comfortably, who say to themselves: The LORD will do nothing— good or bad.

Jesus, however, would not entrust himself to them, since he knew them alland because he did not need anyone to testify about man; for he himself knew what was in man.

So don’t judge anything prematurely, before the Lord comes, who will both bring to light what is hidden in darkness and reveal the intentions of the hearts. And then praise will come to each one from God.

wouldn’t God have found this out, since he knows the secrets of the heart?
