Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the work of Your hands, And to look favorably on the plan of the wicked?

你施行欺壓，棄絕你手所造的，卻使惡人的計謀顯耀：這於你哪是好呢？

爾手所造、則虐待之、輕視之、惡人之謀、則焜耀之、爾豈以是為善乎、

虐遇斯民、豈爾所悅乎。爾既造人、豈遽棄之乎。惡者之謀為、爾反眷佑之乎。

主手所造、主又虐遇厭棄、反光照光照或作眷祐惡人之謀、豈主所悅乎、

Does it please you to oppress me, to spurn the work of your hands, while you smile on the plans of the wicked?

Does it make you happy when you crush me? Does it please you to turn your back on what you have made? While you do those things, you smile on the plans of sinful people!

Does it seem good to you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands and favor the designs of the wicked?

What do you gain by oppressing me? Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands, while smiling on the schemes of the wicked?

Is it good for you to oppress, to reject the work of your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

Does it seem good to You that You should oppress, That You should despise the work of Your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good for You to oppress, to reject the work of Your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

You will call, and I will answer You; You will long for the work of Your hands.

But now, Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter, And all of us are the work of Your hand.

The Lord will accomplish what concerns me; Your faithfulness, Lord, is everlasting; Do not abandon the works of Your hands.

“ Will the faultfinder contend with the Almighty? Let him who rebukes God give an answer.”

Will you really nullify My judgment? Will you condemn Me so that you may be justified?

It is all one; therefore I say,‘ He destroys the guiltless and the wicked.’

Behold, God will not reject a person of integrity, Nor will He help evildoers.

Who says to a king,‘ You worthless one,’ To nobles,‘ You wicked one’;Who shows no partiality to the prominent, Nor regards the rich as above the poor, Since they are all the work of His hands?

For Job has said,‘ I am righteous, But God has taken away my right;Should I lie about my right? My wound is incurable, though I am without wrongdoing.’What man is like Job, Who drinks up derision like water,

He has driven me and made me walk In darkness and not in light.Indeed, He has turned His hand against me Repeatedly all the day.He has consumed my flesh and my skin, He has broken my bones.He has besieged and surrounded me with bitterness and hardship.He has made me live in dark places, Like those who have long been dead.He has walled me in so that I cannot go out; He has made my chain heavy.Even when I cry out and call for help, He shuts out my prayer.He has blocked my ways with cut stone; He has twisted my paths.He is to me like a bear lying in wait, Like a lion in secret places.He has made my ways deviate, and torn me to pieces; He has made me desolate.He bent His bow And took aim at me as a target for the arrow.He made the arrows of His quiver Enter my inward parts.I have become a laughingstock to all my people, Their song of ridicule all the day.He has filled me with bitterness, He has made me drink plenty of wormwood.He has also made my teeth grind with gravel; He has made me cower in the dust.My soul has been excluded from peace; I have forgotten happiness.So I say,“ My strength has failed, And so has my hope from the Lord.”

Righteous are You, Lord, when I plead my case with You; Nevertheless I would discuss matters of justice with You: Why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease?You have planted them, they have also taken root; They grow, they have also produced fruit. You are near to their lips But far from their mind.But You know me, Lord; You see me And examine my heart’s attitude toward You. Drag them off like sheep for the slaughter, And set them apart for a day of slaughter!

Behold, their prosperity is not in their hand; The advice of the wicked is far from me.

Therefore, those also who suffer according to the will of God are to entrust their souls to a faithful Creator in doing what is right.

“ But you were full of judgment on the wicked; Judgment and justice take hold of you.Beware that wrath does not entice you to mockery; And do not let the greatness of the ransom turn you aside.

The earth is handed over to the wicked; He covers the faces of its judges. If it is not He, then who is it?

For the Lord hears the needy, And does not despise those of His who are prisoners.

He does not withdraw His eyes from the righteous, But with kings on the throne He has seated them forever, and they are exalted.And if they are bound in shackles, And are caught in the snares of misery,Then He declares to them their work And their wrongdoings, that they have been arrogant.

Yet He filled their houses with good things; But the advice of the wicked is far from me.
