難道你喜悅壓迫、鄙視你造的人，卻青睞惡人的計謀？

壓迫無辜，又棄絕你手所作的，卻喜悅惡人的計謀，你都以為美嗎？

你施行欺壓，棄絕你手所造的，卻使惡人的計謀顯耀：這於你哪是好呢？

爾手所造、則虐待之、輕視之、惡人之謀、則焜耀之、爾豈以是為善乎、

虐遇斯民、豈爾所悅乎。爾既造人、豈遽棄之乎。惡者之謀為、爾反眷佑之乎。

主手所造、主又虐遇厭棄、反光照光照或作眷祐惡人之謀、豈主所悅乎、

Does it please you to oppress me, to spurn the work of your hands, while you smile on the plans of the wicked?

Does it make you happy when you crush me? Does it please you to turn your back on what you have made? While you do those things, you smile on the plans of sinful people!

Does it seem good to you to oppress, to despise the work of your hands and favor the designs of the wicked?

What do you gain by oppressing me? Why do you reject me, the work of your own hands, while smiling on the schemes of the wicked?

Is it good for you to oppress, to reject the work of your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

Is it right for You indeed to oppress, To reject the work of Your hands, And to look favorably on the plan of the wicked?

Does it seem good to You that You should oppress, That You should despise the work of Your hands, And smile on the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good unto thee that thou shouldest oppress, That thou shouldest despise the work of thy hands, And shine upon the counsel of the wicked?

Is it good for You to oppress, to reject the work of Your hands, and favor the plans of the wicked?

那時你呼喚，我便回應，你必惦念你親手所造之物。

但耶和華啊，你是我們的父親。我們是陶泥，你是窯匠，你親手造了我們。

耶和華必成就祂為我所定的計劃；耶和華啊，你的慈愛永遠長存。求你不要撇棄你親手所造的。

「強辯者豈可與全能者爭論？與上帝辯駁的人請作出答覆。」

你要推翻我的公義，歸罪於我而自以為義嗎？

因為，我認為都是一樣，純全無過的人和惡人都會被祂毀滅。

「上帝決不會拋棄純全的人，也不會扶持邪惡的人。

祂可以稱君王為廢物，稱權貴為惡徒。祂不偏袒王侯，也不輕貧重富，因為他們都是祂親手造的。

約伯曾說，『我是清白的，上帝卻奪去我的公道。我雖然有理，卻被認為是撒謊者；我雖然無過，卻受到致命的創傷。』有誰像約伯？他肆意嘲諷，

祂把我趕進黑暗，使我不見光明，又屢屢攻擊我，終日不斷。祂使我皮肉枯槁，祂折斷我的骨頭。祂使我四面受困，嚐盡痛苦艱辛。祂使我住在幽暗中，像久已死去的人。祂圍困我，使我無法逃脫，祂給我戴上沉重的銅鏈。即使我哀哭呼求，祂也掩耳不聽。祂用鑿好的石頭阻擋我的去路，使我的道路曲折難行。祂像埋伏的巨熊，又像伺機突襲的猛獅，把我拖離大路，將我撕成碎片，一片淒涼。祂彎弓搭箭，把我當箭靶，用箭袋中的箭射穿我的心臟。我成了萬人的笑柄，他們終日唱歌諷刺我。祂使我飽受苦楚，嚐盡苦澀。祂用石頭打斷我的牙齒，把我踐踏在塵土中。我失去平安，忘記了什麼是快樂。我說：「我精疲力竭，對耶和華失去盼望。」

耶和華啊，每次我與你爭論，都顯明你是對的。然而，我還是對你的公正有所不解：為什麼惡人總是得勢？為什麼詭詐之人反而生活安逸？你栽培他們，讓他們生根長大，結出果實。他們嘴上尊崇你，心卻遠離你。但耶和華啊，你認識我，瞭解我，察驗我的內心。求你拖走他們，就像拖走待宰的羊，留到宰殺之日。

看啊，他們的幸福不在他們手中；因此，我決不苟同他們的想法。

所以，照上帝旨意受苦的人要繼續專心行善，將自己的靈魂交託給那位信實的造物主。

「但惡人應受的審判落在你身上，你難逃審判和懲罰。當心，不可因憤怒而嘲罵，不可因贖金大就偏離正道。

大地落入惡人手中，蒙蔽審判官眼睛的不是祂是誰？

耶和華垂聽窮苦人的祈求，不輕看祂被囚的子民。

祂時時看顧義人，使他們與君王同坐寶座，永遠受尊崇。他們若被鎖鏈捆綁，被苦難的繩索纏住，祂就會指明他們的所作所為，讓他們知道自己狂妄的罪愆。

然而，是上帝把美物充滿他們的家；因此，我決不苟同他們的想法。
