“ But this is what you concealed in your heart, and I know that this was in your mind:

然主以此諸災降於我、或作我遭此諸災久藏於主心、我知主有此意久矣、

“‘ But here’s what you hid in your heart. Here’s what you had on your mind.

Yet these things you hid in your heart; I know that this was your purpose.

“‘ Yet your real motive— your true intent—

“ Yet you concealed these thoughts in your heart; I know that this was your hidden plan:

Yet You have concealed these things in Your heart; I know that this is within You:

‘ And these things You have hidden in Your heart; I know that this was with You:

Yet these things thou didst hide in thy heart; I know that this is with thee:

“ Yet You concealed these thoughts in Your heart; I know that this was Your hidden plan:

And these[ things] hast thou hid in thine heart: I know that this[ is] with thee.

“ But these things you have concealed in your heart; I know that this is with you:

Yet you hid these things in your heart. I know that this is with you:

“ But he stands alone, and who can oppose him? He does whatever he pleases.

Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!

For there is a proper time and procedure for every matter, though a person may be weighed down by misery.Since no one knows the future, who can tell someone else what is to come?

“ See now that I myself am he! There is no god besides me. I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal, and no one can deliver out of my hand.

I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster; I, the Lord, do all these things.

according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord.

When he is at work in the north, I do not see him; when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him.

Who can speak and have it happen if the Lord has not decreed it?

Truly you are a God who has been hiding himself, the God and Savior of Israel.
