耶和華問撒但：“你有沒有注意到我的僕人約伯？世上再也沒有一個人像他那樣完全、正直，敬畏神，遠離罪惡。”

耶和华问撒但说：“你曾用心察看我的仆人约伯没有？地上再没有人像他完全正直，敬畏神，远离恶事。”

耶和华对撒但说：“你曾用心察看我的仆人约伯没有？地上再没有人像他那样完全、正直、敬畏上帝、远离恶事。”

耶和华对撒但说：“你曾用心察看我的仆人约伯没有？地上再没有人像他那样完全、正直、敬畏神、远离恶事。”

耶和华问撒旦：“你注意到我的仆人约伯了吗？世上没有人像他那样纯全正直，敬畏我，远离罪恶。”

耶和华问撒但：“你有没有注意到我的仆人约伯？世上再也没有一个人像他那样完全、正直，敬畏神，远离罪恶。”

耶和華問撒但說：「你曾用心察看我的僕人約伯沒有？地上再沒有人像他完全正直，敬畏神，遠離惡事。」

耶和華對撒但說：「你曾用心察看我的僕人約伯沒有？地上再沒有人像他那樣完全、正直、敬畏上帝、遠離惡事。」

耶和華對撒但說：「你曾用心察看我的僕人約伯沒有？地上再沒有人像他那樣完全、正直、敬畏神、遠離惡事。」

耶和華問撒旦：「你注意到我的僕人約伯了嗎？世上沒有人像他那樣純全正直，敬畏我，遠離罪惡。」

永恆主問撒但說：『你有沒有用心察看過我僕人約伯，看出地上沒有人能比得上他那樣純全，又正直又敬畏上帝，又遠離壞事呢？』

耶和華曰、我僕約伯、爾留意乎、彼純全端正、寅畏上帝、離棄諸惡、世無其匹、

耶和華曰、我僕約百、品行純良、孳孳為義、寅畏乎我、遠諸不善、天下莫與比儗、爾亦鑒之乎。

主問撒但曰、爾曾諦觀我僕約百否、世無人如彼、篤實正直、敬畏天主、遠離惡事、

Then the Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one on earth like him; he is blameless and upright, a man who fears God and shuns evil.”

Then the Lord said to Satan,“ Have you thought about my servant Job? There isn’t anyone on earth like him. He is honest. He does what is right. He has respect for God and avoids evil.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered my servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, who fears God and turns away from evil?”

Then the Lord asked Satan,“ Have you noticed my servant Job? He is the finest man in all the earth. He is blameless— a man of complete integrity. He fears God and stays away from evil.”

Then the LORD said to Satan,“ Have you considered my servant Job? No one else on earth is like him, a man of perfect integrity, who fears God and turns away from evil.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, fearing God and turning away from evil.”

Then the Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil?”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job? for there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and turneth away from evil.

Then the Lord said to Satan,“ Have you considered My servant Job? No one else on earth is like him, a man of perfect integrity, who fears God and turns away from evil.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that[ there is] none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

So the LORD said to Satan,“ Have you considered my servant Job? There is no one like him on the earth, a pure and upright man, one who fears God and turns away from evil.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Have you considered my servant, Job? For there is no one like him in the earth, a blameless and an upright man, one who fears God, and turns away from evil.”

耶和華問撒但：“你有沒有注意到我的僕人約伯？世上再也沒有一個人像他那樣完全、正直，敬畏神，遠離罪惡。雖然你挑撥我與他作對，無緣無故使他傾家蕩產，他還是堅守自己的純全。”

烏斯地有一個人，名叫約伯。這人完全、正直，敬畏神，遠離罪惡。

敬畏耶和華就是恨惡邪惡；驕傲、狂妄、邪惡的行為、乖謬的口，我都恨惡。

你們要洗滌自己，潔淨自己；從我眼前除掉你們的惡行；要停止作惡，

在他以前沒有王好像他按著摩西一切律法，全心、全性、全力歸向耶和華；在他以後也沒有興起一個王好像他的。

可是，對我的僕人摩西卻不是這樣，他是在我全家忠心的。我要與他面對面說話，是親自說的，不是用謎語；他必看見耶和華的形象，你們出言反對我的僕人摩西，為甚麼不懼怕呢？”

所羅門的智慧大過所有東方人的智慧，大過埃及人的一切智慧。他比萬人都有智慧，勝過以斯拉人以探和瑪曷的三個兒子希幔、甲各、達大的智慧。他的名聲傳遍了四周列國。

應當離惡行善，你就可以永遠安居。

惡人的罪過在他心中深處說話，他眼中也不怕神。（本節或譯：“我心中深處有話說，是關於惡人的罪過，他眼中不怕神”）

我在他面前作完全的人，我也謹慎自己，脫離我的罪孽。

正直人必因此驚訝，要被激發起來，攻擊不敬虔的人。義人必堅守自己的道路，手潔的人要力上加力。

你只要堅強，十分勇敢，謹守遵行我僕人摩西吩咐你的一切律法，不可偏離左右，好使你無論到哪裡去，都可以亨通。

摩西為人十分謙和，勝過世上所有的人。

看哪！這是我的僕人，我扶持他；我所揀選的，我的心喜悅他；我已經把我的靈賜給他，他必把公理帶給萬國。

耶和華對約伯說了這些話以後，就對提幔人以利法說：“我要向你和你的兩個朋友生氣，因為你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。現在你們要為自己取七頭公牛、七隻公羊，到我的僕人約伯那裡去，為你們獻上燔祭，我的僕人約伯就替你們禱告；我悅納他的禱告，就不按照你們的愚昧待你們。你們講論我，不如我的僕人約伯說的對。”

也要離惡行善，尋找並追求和睦。

耶穌看見拿但業向他走過來，就論到他說：“看哪，這的確是個以色列人，他心裡沒有詭詐。”

所以我說，善惡都是一樣，完全人和惡人，他都滅盡。災禍忽然把人殺害的時候，他就必嘲笑無辜人的遭遇。

我這求告神，又蒙他應允的，竟成為朋友的笑柄，公義完全的人竟成為笑柄，

在我們以先的前任省長，重壓人民，每日都向他們索取糧食和酒，以及四百五十六克銀子。連他們的僕人也轄制人民，但我因為敬畏神，就不這樣行。

他若對人決心這樣作，他若把靈與氣收歸自己，

懸掛著的犯人中，有一個侮辱他說：“你不是基督嗎？救你自己和我們吧！”另一個就應聲責備他說：“你是同樣受刑的，還不懼怕神嗎？

看哪，神必不離棄完全人，也不扶助行惡的人之手；

我的腳緊隨他的腳步，我謹守他的道，並不偏離。他嘴唇的命令我沒有離棄，我珍藏他口中的言語在我的心胸，勝過我需用的飲食（“勝過我需用的飲食”或可參照《七十士譯本》等古譯本翻譯為“在我的心胸”）。

那人對我說：“人子啊！我所要指示你的，你都要用眼看，用耳聽，並要放在心上，因為我帶你到這裡來，為的是要指示你；你所看見的，你都要告訴以色列家。”

我找到我的僕人大衛，用我的聖膏油膏他。

因為耶和華神是太陽，是盾牌，耶和華賜下恩惠和光榮；他沒有留下一樣好處，不給那些行為正直的人。
