The Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”

永恆主問撒但說：『你從哪裏來？』撒但回答永恆主說：『我是漫遊地上、在那上面走來走去、回來的。』

耶和華謂撒但曰、爾奚自、對曰、徧歷塵寰、往來其間而返、

耶和華問撒但曰、汝奚自、對曰、我遍歷塵寰、往來靡定。

主問撒但曰、爾自何來、撒但對主曰、我遨遊徧地、周行地上而來、

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered the Lord,“ From roaming throughout the earth, going back and forth on it.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Satan answered,“ From traveling all around the earth. I’ve been going from one end of it to the other.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ From where have you come?” Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking up and down on it.”

“ Where have you come from?” the Lord asked Satan. Satan answered the Lord,“ I have been patrolling the earth, watching everything that’s going on.”

The LORD asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered him,“ and walking around on it.”

And the Lord said to Satan,“ From where do you come?” So Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.”

And Jehovah said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered Jehovah, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

The Lord asked Satan,“ Where have you come from?”“ From roaming through the earth,” Satan answered Him,“ and walking around on it.”

And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

The LORD said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” And Satan answered the LORD,“ From roving about on the earth, and from walking back and forth across it.”

Yahweh said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Then Satan answered Yahweh, and said,“ From going back and forth in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.”

Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.

But he went in and stood before his master. And Elisha said to him,“ Where have you been, Gehazi?” And he said,“ Your servant went nowhere.”

The Lord said to Satan,“ Where have you come from?” Then Satan answered the Lord and said,“ From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it.”

“ Now when the unclean spirit comes out of a person, it passes through waterless places seeking rest, and does not find it.

And the great dragon was thrown down, the serpent of old who is called the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was thrown down to the earth, and his angels were thrown down with him.

For this reason, rejoice, you heavens and you who dwell in them. Woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has come down to you with great wrath, knowing that he has only a short time.”And when the dragon saw that he was thrown down to the earth, he persecuted the woman who gave birth to the male Child.But the two wings of the great eagle were given to the woman, so that she could fly into the wilderness to her place, where she* was nourished for a time, times, and half a time, away from the presence of the serpent.And the serpent hurled water like a river out of his mouth after the woman, so that he might cause her to be swept away with the flood.But the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened its mouth and drank up the river which the dragon had hurled out of his mouth.So the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went off to make war with the rest of her children, who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Jesus.

and will come out to deceive the nations which are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together for the war; the number of them is like the sand of the seashore.

And the man who was standing among the myrtle trees responded and said,“ These are the ones whom the Lord has sent to patrol the earth.”So they responded to the angel of the Lord who was standing among the myrtle trees and said,“ We have patrolled the earth, and behold, all the earth is still and quiet.”

When the strong ones went out, they were eager to go to patrol the earth. And He said,“ Go, patrol the earth.” So they patrolled the earth.
