“‘ If his offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he shall offer a male without defect. He shall offer it at the door of the Tent of Meeting, that he may be accepted before Yahweh.He shall lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.He shall kill the bull before Yahweh. Aaron’s sons, the priests, shall present the blood and sprinkle the blood around on the altar that is at the door of the Tent of Meeting.He shall skin the burnt offering, and cut it into pieces.

He sent young men of the children of Israel, who offered burnt offerings and sacrificed peace offerings of cattle to Yahweh.

Jerusalem, wash your heart from wickedness, that you may be saved. How long will your evil thoughts lodge within you?

All the congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native- born shall be put to death when he blasphemes the Name.

Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice. In the morning I will lay my requests before you, and will watch expectantly.

When he raises himself up, the mighty are afraid. They retreat before his thrashing.

Yahweh saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of man’s heart was continually only evil.

But stretch out your hand now, and touch all that he has, and he will renounce you to your face.”

Will he delight himself in the Almighty, and call on God at all times?

For from within, out of the hearts of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, sexual sins, murders, thefts,covetings, wickedness, deceit, lustful desires, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, and foolishness.All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.”

For I am jealous over you with a godly jealousy. For I married you to one husband, that I might present you as a pure virgin to Christ.
