歲以誕日之先後、肆筵既遍、約百乃召眾子、欲贖其罪、夙興、為之各獻燔祭、自謂吾子不無愆尤、遐棄上帝。約百所為恆若此。○

When a period of feasting had run its course, Job would make arrangements for them to be purified. Early in the morning he would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them, thinking,“ Perhaps my children have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular custom.

The time for enjoying good food would end. Then Job would make plans for his children to be made pure and“ clean.” He would sacrifice a burnt offering for each of them. He would do it early in the morning. He would think,“ Perhaps my children have sinned. Maybe they have spoken evil things against God in their hearts.” That’s what Job always did for his children when he felt they had sinned.

And when the days of the feast had run their course, Job would send and consecrate them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said,“ It may be that my children have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did continually.

When these celebrations ended— sometimes after several days— Job would purify his children. He would get up early in the morning and offer a burnt offering for each of them. For Job said to himself,“ Perhaps my children have sinned and have cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.

Whenever a round of banqueting was over, Job would send for his children and purify them, rising early in the morning to offer burnt offerings for all of them. For Job thought,“ Perhaps my children have sinned, having cursed God in their hearts.” This was Job’s regular practice.

When the days of feasting had completed their cycle, Job would send word to them and consecrate them, getting up early in the morning and offering burnt offerings according to the number of them all; for Job said,“ Perhaps my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Job did so continually.

So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said,“ It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt- offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and renounced God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

他回答：“是為平安來的。我來是要向耶和華獻祭。你們要自潔，與我一同參加獻祭的筵席。”撒母耳使耶西和他的兒子自潔，邀請他們來參加獻祭的筵席。

然後兩個匪徒來坐在拿伯的對面。這兩個流氓當眾作見證控告拿伯，說：“拿伯曾經咒詛神和君王。”眾人就把拿伯拉出城外，用石頭打他，把他打死了。

雅各就對他的家人，和所有與他在一起的人說：“你們要除去你們中間外族人的神像，你們要潔淨自己，更換你們的衣服。我們要起程，上伯特利去；我要在那裡給神築一座祭壇，他就是在我遭患難的時候應允我的呼求，在我所行的路上與我同行的那一位。”

又叫兩個匪徒坐在拿伯的對面，作見證控告他說：‘你曾經咒詛神和君王’；然後把他拉出去，用石頭把他打死。”

亞伯拉罕清早起來，預備好了驢，帶著兩個童僕和自己的兒子以撒，也劈好了獻燔祭用的柴，就起程到神指示他的地方去。

所以時候還沒有到，你們不要批評，直等到主來；他要照出黑暗中的隱情，顯明人心裡的動機。那時，各人要從神那裡得著稱讚。

所以，你要悔改離棄這罪惡，要祈求主，也許你心中的意念可以得到赦免。

你的兒女若得罪了他，他就因他們的過犯撇棄他們。

藉著各樣的禱告和祈求，隨時在聖靈裡祈禱，並且要在這事上恆久警醒，為眾聖徒祈求。

凡是你手可作的，都當盡力去作；因為在你所要去的陰間裡，既沒有工作，又沒有籌謀；沒有知識，也沒有智慧。

保羅就把那幾個人帶走了，第二天和他們一同行了潔淨禮。他們進了殿，報明了他們潔淨期滿的日子，以及各人獻祭的時間。

猶太人的逾越節快到了，有許多人在過節前從各鄉上耶路撒冷去，要在那裡潔淨自己。

祭司和利未人潔淨了自己，然後潔淨民眾，以及城門和城牆。

摩西的岳父葉忒羅把燔祭和幾樣祭品拿來獻給神；亞倫和所有以色列的長老都來到神面前，與摩西的岳父一同吃飯。

難道神不會為晝夜呼籲他的選民伸冤嗎？難道神會耽誤他們嗎？

耶和華對摩西說：“你到人民那裡去，要他們今天明天分別為聖，又要他們洗淨自己的衣服；

他妻子對他說：“難道你還要堅守自己的純全嗎？你不如放棄神，死掉算了。”

人心比萬物都詭詐，無法醫治；誰能識透呢？“我耶和華是察透人心，試驗人肺腑的，要照著各人的行為，和各人所作的事應得的結果報應各人。”

他的供物若是獻牛作燔祭，就要把一頭沒有殘疾的公牛，牽到會幕門口，就可以在耶和華面前蒙悅納。他要按手在燔祭牲的頭上，燔祭就蒙悅納，可以為他贖罪。他要在耶和華面前宰殺那公牛，亞倫子孫作祭司的，要奉上血，潑在會幕門口祭壇的四周。那人要剝去燔祭牲的皮，把燔祭牲切成塊子。

又派了以色列人中的青年人去獻燔祭，又向耶和華殺牛獻為平安祭。

耶路撒冷啊！洗淨你心中的邪惡，使你可以得救！你心存惡念，要到幾時呢？

有一個以色列婦人的兒子，父親是埃及人，在以色列人中間出入；這以色列婦人的兒子在營裡和一個以色列人爭吵；這以色列婦人的兒子褻瀆耶和華的名，咒詛耶和華的名，人就把他帶到摩西那裡。（他母親名叫示羅密，是但支派底伯利的女兒。）他們拘留看守那人，等候耶和華給他們的指示。耶和華對摩西說：“把那咒詛聖名的人拉出營外，聽見的人都按手在他頭上。然後全體會眾要扔石頭打死他。你要告訴以色列人：咒詛神的，必擔當自己的罪。褻瀆耶和華聖名的人，必被處死，全體會眾要扔石頭打他；不論是寄居的外人或是本地人，如果褻瀆聖名，必被處死。

耶和華啊！求你在清晨聽我的聲音；我要一早向你陳明，並且迫切等候。

牠一起來，勇士都驚慌，因驚惶過度舉止失措。

耶和華看見人在地上的罪惡很大，終日心裡思念的，盡都是邪惡的。

只要你伸手打擊他所有的一切，他一定當面褻瀆你。”

他以全能者為樂，時時求告神嗎？

因為從裡面，就是從人的心裡，發出惡念、淫亂、偷盜、兇殺、姦淫、貪心、邪惡、詭詐、放蕩、嫉妒、毀謗、驕傲、愚妄；這一切惡事，是從人裡面出來的，都能使人污穢。”

我以神的熱愛愛你們，因為我把你們獻給基督，好像把貞潔的童女許配給一個丈夫。

以利亞照著雅各子孫支派的數目，拿了十二塊石頭。（耶和華的話曾臨到雅各說：“你的名要叫以色列。”）
