以其瘍痛甚、謗讟天上上帝、不悔改所為、

歲以誕日之先後、肆筵既遍、約百乃召眾子、欲贖其罪、夙興、為之各獻燔祭、自謂吾子不無愆尤、遐棄上帝。約百所為恆若此。○

經歷斯土、飢饉困憊、既己枵腹之堪嗟、自必中心之發憤、詛咒君王、謗讟上帝、顧瞻上下、無非幽暗患難、昏黑杳冥之域矣。

耶和華曰、爾出言不遜、違逆乎我、爾曰、予以何詞悖爾哉、爾常言曰、服事上帝、終屬徒勞、我心甚憂、順從萬有之主耶和華、守其法度、何益之有、

我萬有之主耶和華曰、儀容赫奕、既經顯著、耶和華特遣予督責虜爾之民、凡犯爾者、與犯其眸子無異、

今爾遇災而倉皇、臨難而觳觫。

我裸而出世、亦必裸而歸土、耶和華賜之、耶和華取之、當頌讚耶和華。

耶和華震怒其民、舉手攻擊、使山巖震動、尸相枕藉、有若街衢之土壤、其忿怒猶未息也、其降罰猶未已也、

天降大雹于人、各重一鈞、雹災既甚、人謗讟上帝矣、

乃諭民曰、犯此人與其妻者、殺無赦。

其妻曰、爾猶不變所守乎、不如詛上帝而死可也。

耶和華曰、彼凡所有、任爾處之、惟勿擊其身。撒但退。○

人見暴甚、則謗讟秉權降災之上帝、不悔改以頌禱、

其沐以膏者、不許干犯、其立為先知者、不許惡待兮、
