His neighbors and those who had formerly seen him begging asked,“ Isn’t this the same man who used to sit and beg?”

Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind said,“ Is not this he who sat and begged?”

The neighbors therefore, and they that saw him aforetime, that he was a beggar, said, Is not this he that sat and begged?

So they were filled with awe and astonishment at what had happened to him.While he was holding on to Peter and John, all the people, utterly astonished, ran toward them in what is called Solomon’s Colonnade.

The two of them traveled until they came to Bethlehem. When they entered Bethlehem, the whole town was excited about their arrival and the local women exclaimed,“ Can this be Naomi?”
