The Fountain Gate was repaired by Shallun son of Kol-Hozeh, ruler of the district of Mizpah. He rebuilt it, roofing it over and putting its doors and bolts and bars in place. He also repaired the wall of the Pool of Siloam, by the King’s Garden, as far as the steps going down from the City of David. (niv)

the Lord gives sight to the blind, the Lord lifts up those who are bowed down, the Lord loves the righteous. (niv)

to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. (niv)

Or those eighteen who died when the tower in Siloam fell on them— do you think they were more guilty than all the others living in Jerusalem? (niv)

what about the one whom the Father set apart as his very own and sent into the world? Why then do you accuse me of blasphemy because I said,‘ I am God’s Son’? (niv)

Lead out those who have eyes but are blind, who have ears but are deaf. (niv)

Couldn’t I wash in them and be cleansed?” So he turned and went off in a rage.Naaman’s servants went to him and said,“ My father, if the prophet had told you to do some great thing, would you not have done it? How much more, then, when he tells you,‘ Wash and be cleansed’!”So he went down and dipped himself in the Jordan seven times, as the man of God had told him, and his flesh was restored and became clean like that of a young boy. In that day the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.Once more the humble will rejoice in the Lord; the needy will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. (niv)

But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, (niv)
