諭曰：『往矣、自洗於西祿池。』西祿之為言、奉使也。盲者往洗、目明而歸。

斯民厭棄西羅亞緩流之水、而悅利汛與利瑪利之子、

治米斯巴者、各荷西子沙崙、修葺泉門、建門、作蓋、置扉、鎖楗俱備、復建近於王囿、西羅亞沼之垣、至大衛城之階、

矇瞶者、耶和華明之、屈抑者、耶和華起之、為義者、耶和華愛之兮、

啟瞽者之目、出囹圄之囚、處幽暗者、出之於獄、

昔西羅亞樓傾、壓而斃者十八人、爾意斯人較居耶路撒冷諸民、尤負罪乎、

則父以為聖而遣入世者、自謂上帝子、僭妄云乎哉、

有目而矇、有耳而聵之民、當攜之出、

以利沙遣使謂之曰、往約但河沐浴七次、則爾膚復原而得潔、乃縵怒而退曰、我意彼必出而見我、立而籲其上帝耶和華之名、搖手於患處、使癩者得愈、大馬色之河、亞罷拿與法珥法、較以色列諸水、豈不尤佳乎、我不可浴於彼、而得潔乎、遂忿然反身而去、其僕進而謂之曰、我父歟、先知若命爾行一大事、爾豈不行之、況僅言沐浴而得潔乎、乃縵遂下、遵上帝僕之言、濡於約但七次、其膚復原、如嬰孩之膚而潔焉、

是日也、聾者得聞書言、瞶者之目、自幽暗晦冥而得見、卑微之輩、因耶和華而增歡欣、貧乏之人、緣以色列之聖者而得喜樂、

屆期、上帝遣其子、由女而生、在於律下、

見者目不瞀、聽者耳必聰、

耶和華曰、造人之口者誰乎、使人或瘖或聾、或明或瞽者誰乎、非我耶和華乎、

為光以照異邦、亦為爾以色列民之榮、

蓋律因形軀而弱、致有所不能為、上帝為罪故遣其子、身具罪狀、於形軀而定罪、

耶穌曰、我為鞫入世、使不見者得見、而見者反瞽也、

惟彼瞽者、我必攜之於不識之途、導之於不識之徑、在彼之前、使暗為光、使曲為直、我將行此、而不之棄、凡恃雕像、對鑄像云、爾為我神、必皆退而愧怍、○爾曹聾者宜聽、盲者宜視而明、
