Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

耶稣说：“我到这世上来是为了审判，使那看不见的能够看见，能看见的反而成了瞎眼的。”

耶稣说：“我到这世上来是为了行审判，使看不见的能看见，使看得见的反而瞎了眼。”

耶穌說：「我為審判到這世上來，叫不能看見的，可以看見；能看見的，反瞎了眼。」

耶穌說：「我為了審判來到這世界，使瞎眼的可以看見，使看得見的反成了瞎眼的。」

耶穌說：“我到這世上來是為了審判，使那看不見的能夠看見，能看見的反而成了瞎眼的。”

耶穌說：『為了審判、我才到這世界上來，使看不見的能看見，而能看見的反而成了瞎眼！』

耶穌說：「我到這世上來是為了行審判，使看不見的能看見，使看得見的反而瞎了眼。」

耶穌曰、我為鞫入世、使不見者得見、而見者反瞽也、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者可見、見者反為瞽、

耶穌曰、我為審判臨世、使不見者得見、見者反瞽、

耶穌曰：『予臨斯世、實為黜陟、欲使不見者得見、而自以為明者轉成瞽盲。』

Jesus said,“ I have come into this world to judge it. I have come so that people who are blind will see. I have come so that people who can see will become blind.”

Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

Then Jesus told him,“ I entered this world to render judgment— to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world, that they that see not may see; and that they that see may become blind.

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Jesus said,]“ For judgment I have come into this world, so that those who do not see may gain their sight, and the ones who see may become blind.”

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”

This is the verdict: Light has come into the world, but people loved darkness instead of light because their deeds were evil.

I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness.

to open their eyes and turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said,“ I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

“ The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,

“ He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so they can neither see with their eyes, nor understand with their hearts, nor turn— and I would heal them.”Isaiah said this because he saw Jesus’ glory and spoke about him.

But anyone who hates a brother or sister is in the darkness and walks around in the darkness. They do not know where they are going, because the darkness has blinded them.

At that very time Jesus cured many who had diseases, sicknesses and evil spirits, and gave sight to many who were blind.

He replied,“ Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

He said,“ Go and tell this people:“‘ Be ever hearing, but never understanding; be ever seeing, but never perceiving.’

What then? What the people of Israel sought so earnestly they did not obtain. The elect among them did, but the others were hardened,as it is written:“ God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”And David says:“ May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution for them.May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.”

This is why it is said:“ Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

They know nothing, they understand nothing; their eyes are plastered over so they cannot see, and their minds closed so they cannot understand.

“ Who is he, sir?” the man asked.“ Tell me so that I may believe in him.”Jesus said,“ You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”Then the man said,“ Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.

to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.”

To the one we are an aroma that brings death; to the other, an aroma that brings life. And who is equal to such a task?

You judge by human standards; I pass judgment on no one.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Indeed there are those who are last who will be first, and first who will be last.”

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake.For God, who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ.

Your eye is the lamp of your body. When your eyes are healthy, your whole body also is full of light. But when they are unhealthy, your body also is full of darkness.See to it, then, that the light within you is not darkness.

Moreover, the Father judges no one, but has entrusted all judgment to the Son,that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Whoever does not honor the Son does not honor the Father, who sent him.“ Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.Very truly I tell you, a time is coming and has now come when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God and those who hear will live.For as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.And he has given him authority to judge because he is the Son of Man.

Then Simeon blessed them and said to Mary, his mother:“ This child is destined to cause the falling and rising of many in Israel, and to be a sign that will be spoken against,

The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.

Then the Lord reached out his hand and touched my mouth and said to me,“ I have put my words in your mouth.See, today I appoint you over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and overthrow, to build and to plant.”

But if your eyes are unhealthy, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light within you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

This is why I speak to them in parables:“ Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.In them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah:“‘ You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving.For this people’s heart has become calloused; they hardly hear with their ears, and they have closed their eyes. Otherwise they might see with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their hearts and turn, and I would heal them.’

The Lord has brought over you a deep sleep: He has sealed your eyes( the prophets); he has covered your heads( the seers).

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.

“ Hear, you deaf; look, you blind, and see!Who is blind but my servant, and deaf like the messenger I send? Who is blind like the one in covenant with me, blind like the servant of the Lord?You have seen many things, but you pay no attention; your ears are open, but you do not listen.”

and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.
