耶穌曰：『予臨斯世、實為黜陟、欲使不見者得見、而自以為明者轉成瞽盲。』

Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

Jesus said,“ I have come into this world to judge it. I have come so that people who are blind will see. I have come so that people who can see will become blind.”

Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

Then Jesus told him,“ I entered this world to render judgment— to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world, that they that see not may see; and that they that see may become blind.

是鞫也、因光臨世、而人愛暗愈於光、以其行惡也、

我乃光臨於世、俾信者弗居於暗、

即今遣爾就之者、俾啟其目、使之離暗就光、脫撒但之權、而歸上帝、致得罪赦、同獲因信成聖之業、

耶穌復語眾曰、我乃世之光、從我者、不行於暗、必有維生之光、

主之神偕我矣、蓋彼膏我、以宣福音於貧者、遣我宣告、虜者得釋、瞽者得明、受挫折者得自由、

主瞽其目、頑其心、恐其目見心悟、轉移而我醫之、以賽亞之言、因見其榮、而論及之也、

惟惡兄弟者、乃在暗中、且行於暗中、不知所往、因暗盲其目也、○

時耶穌醫諸疾病痛苦、及患惡鬼者、且多賜瞽者得明、

曰、其為罪人與否、我不知也、惟知一事、即我昔瞽今見耳、

曰、往告斯民云、爾其聽之而不悟、視之而不明、

然則何耶、以色列所求未得、惟蒙選者得之、餘則頑耳、如經云、上帝賦之以昏昧之心、目不見、耳不聞、至於今日、大衛曰、令其筵為絆、為檻、為礙、為報、其目矇而不見、其背終於傴僂、

故曰、寐者宜寤、自死而起、基督將照爾矣、○

維彼不知不思、其目障翳不見、其心蒙蔽不明、

曰、主、彼為誰、俾我信之、耶穌曰、爾已見之、與爾言者是也、曰、主、我信矣、遂拜之、

照夫居於幽暗及死蔭者、導我履平康之路、○

於此為由死致死之臭味、於彼為由生致生之臭味、孰堪任此乎、

爾以貌判人、我弗判也、

因上帝遣子入世、非以鞫世、乃令由之而獲救、

有後者將為先、先者將為後也、○

斯世之靈、盲其中不信者之心、使基督有榮之福音、光不之照、夫基督上帝像也、我儕所宣非己、乃基督耶穌為主、己則緣耶穌為爾僕耳、蓋命光由暗而照之上帝、已照我心、俾知上帝榮之光、即顯於耶穌基督之面者也、○

夫身之燈、目也、爾目瞭、則全體光、目眊、則全體暗、故宜省之、恐爾衷之光暗也、

父不鞫人、悉以鞫委子、俾眾敬子如敬父、不敬子者、不敬遣子之父也、我誠語汝、聽我言而信遣我者、有永生、不至見鞫、乃已出死入生矣、我誠語汝、時至、今是矣、死者將聞上帝子之聲、而聞者將生、蓋如父於己有生、其賜子於己有生亦然、且賜之權行鞫、以其為人子也、

西面祝之、謂其母馬利亞曰、此子之立、致以色列多人興衰、亦為受誹之兆、

如瞽者明、跛者行、癩者潔、聾者聰、死者甦、貧者聞福音、

耶和華伸手捫我口、曰、我以我言置於爾口、今日立爾於諸邦諸族之上、用以拔之毀之、滅之傾之、建之植之、○

目眊則全身暗、爾衷之光若暗、其暗大哉、

故我以喻語之、因其視而不見、聽而不聞、亦不悟也、以應以賽亞預言云、爾將聽而不聰、視而不明、蓋斯民心頑、耳聵、自閉其目、恐目視、耳聽、心悟、轉移而我醫之、

蓋耶和華以沉睡之神注爾、閉爾之目、即先知也、蒙爾之首、即先見也、

惟爾乃蒙選之族、王室之祭司、維聖之國、特設之民、俾彰召爾出幽暗入奇光者之德、

爾曹聾者宜聽、盲者宜視而明、誰為瞽、非我僕乎、誰為聾、如我所遣之使乎、誰為瞽如我之同盟、誰為瞽如耶和華之僕乎、爾多見而不悟、啟耳而不聞、

又以非義之諸詭譎、加於淪亡者、因其不納真理之愛、致得救焉、
