Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

耶穌曰、我為鞫入世、使不見者得見、而見者反瞽也、

耶穌曰：『予臨斯世、實為黜陟、欲使不見者得見、而自以為明者轉成瞽盲。』

Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”

Jesus said,“ I have come into this world to judge it. I have come so that people who are blind will see. I have come so that people who can see will become blind.”

Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

Then Jesus told him,“ I entered this world to render judgment— to give sight to the blind and to show those who think they see that they are blind.”

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I came into this world, so that those who do not see may see, and those who see may become blind.”

And Jesus said,“ For judgment I have come into this world, that those who do not see may see, and that those who see may be made blind.”

And Jesus said, For judgment came I into this world, that they that see not may see; and that they that see may become blind.

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, in order that those who do not see will see and those who do see will become blind.”

And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind.

Jesus said,]“ For judgment I have come into this world, so that those who do not see may gain their sight, and the ones who see may become blind.”

Jesus said,“ I came into this world for judgment, that those who don’t see may see; and that those who see may become blind.”

This is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil.

I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me would not remain in darkness.

to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a share among those who are sanctified by faith in me.’

Jesus spoke to them again:“ I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set free the oppressed,

He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, so that they would not see with their eyes or understand with their hearts, and turn, and I would heal them.Isaiah said these things because he saw his glory and spoke about him.

But the one who hates his brother or sister is in the darkness, walks in the darkness, and doesn’t know where he’s going, because the darkness has blinded his eyes.

At that time Jesus healed many people of diseases, afflictions, and evil spirits, and he granted sight to many blind people.

He answered,“ Whether or not he’s a sinner, I don’t know. One thing I do know: I was blind, and now I can see!”

And he replied: Go! Say to these people: Keep listening, but do not understand; keep looking, but do not perceive.

What then? Israel did not find what it was looking for, but the elect did find it. The rest were hardened,as it is written, God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that cannot see and ears that cannot hear, to this day.And David says, Let their table become a snare and a trap, a pitfall and a retribution to them.Let their eyes be darkened so that they cannot see, and their backs be bent continually.

for what makes everything visible is light. Therefore it is said: Get up, sleeper, and rise up from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.

Such people do not comprehend and cannot understand, for he has shut their eyes so they cannot see, and their minds so they cannot understand.

“ Who is he, Sir, that I may believe in him?” he asked.Jesus answered,“ You have seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you.”“ I believe, Lord!” he said, and he worshiped him.

to shine on those who live in darkness and the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. Who is adequate for these things?

You judge by human standards. I judge no one.

For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

Note this: Some who are last will be first, and some who are first will be last.”

In their case, the god of this age has blinded the minds of the unbelievers to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.For we are not proclaiming ourselves but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’s sake.For God who said,“ Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of God’s glory in the face of Jesus Christ.

Your eye is the lamp of the body. When your eye is healthy, your whole body is also full of light. But when it is bad, your body is also full of darkness.Take care, then, that the light in you is not darkness.

The Father, in fact, judges no one but has given all judgment to the Son,so that all people may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. Anyone who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.“ Truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.“ Truly I tell you, an hour is coming, and is now here, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.For just as the Father has life in himself, so also he has granted to the Son to have life in himself.And he has granted him the right to pass judgment, because he is the Son of Man.

Then Simeon blessed them and told his mother Mary,“ Indeed, this child is destined to cause the fall and rise of many in Israel and to be a sign that will be opposed—

The blind receive their sight, the lame walk, those with leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor are told the good news,

Then the LORD reached out his hand, touched my mouth, and told me: I have now filled your mouth with my words.See, I have appointed you today over nations and kingdoms to uproot and tear down, to destroy and demolish, to build and plant.

But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. So if the light within you is darkness, how deep is that darkness!

That is why I speak to them in parables, because looking they do not see, and hearing they do not listen or understand.Isaiah’s prophecy is fulfilled in them, which says: You will listen and listen, but never understand; you will look and look, but never perceive.For this people’s heart has grown callous; their ears are hard of hearing, and they have shut their eyes; otherwise they might see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their hearts, and turn back— and I would heal them.

For the LORD has poured out on you an overwhelming urge to sleep; he has shut your eyes( the prophets) and covered your heads( the seers).

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his possession, so that you may proclaim the praises of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.

“ Listen, you deaf! Look, you blind, so that you may see.Who is blind but my servant, or deaf like my messenger I am sending? Who is blind like my dedicated one, or blind like the servant of the LORD?Though seeing many things, you pay no attention. Though his ears are open, he does not listen.”

and with every wicked deception among those who are perishing. They perish because they did not accept the love of the truth and so be saved.
