The man answered,“ That is really surprising! You don’t know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes.

那人说：“祂开了我的眼睛，你们竟不知道祂从哪里来，真是奇怪。

那人对他们说：“这就奇怪了，他开了我的眼睛，你们竟然不知道他从哪里来。

他回答说：“这就奇怪了！他开了我的眼睛，你们竟然不知道他是从哪里来的！

那人回答說：「他開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道他從哪裏來，這真是奇怪！

那人回答，對他們說：「他開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道他從哪裏來，這真是奇怪！

那人回答，對他們說：「他開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道他從哪裏來，這真是奇怪！

那人說：「祂開了我的眼睛，你們竟不知道祂從哪裡來，真是奇怪。

那人對他們說：“這就奇怪了，他開了我的眼睛，你們竟然不知道他從哪裡來。

那人回答他們說：『可希奇的就在這一點了！他開了我的眼，你們竟不知道他是從哪裏來的！

他回答說：「這就奇怪了！他開了我的眼睛，你們竟然不知道他是從哪裡來的！

曰、斯亦奇矣、彼啟我目、而爾不知其奚自耶、

曰、彼明我目、爾不知其奚自、不亦異乎、

其人答曰、異哉此事、彼明我目、而爾不知其何自、

其人應之曰：『爾謂不知其所自然彼固已啟吾之目矣。噫、是亦異矣！

The man answered,“ Now that is remarkable! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.

The man answered,“ Why, this is an amazing thing! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes.

“ Why, that’s very strange!” the man replied.“ He healed my eyes, and yet you don’t know where he comes from?

“ This is an amazing thing!” the man told them.“ You don’t know where he is from, and yet he opened my eyes.

The man answered and said to them,“ Well, here is the amazing thing, that you do not know where He is from, and yet He opened my eyes!

The man answered and said to them,“ Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes!

The man answered and said unto them, Why, herein is the marvel, that ye know not whence he is, and yet he opened mine eyes.

“ This is an amazing thing,” the man told them.“ You don’t know where He is from, yet He opened my eyes!

The man answered and said unto them, Why herein is a marvellous thing, that ye know not from whence he is, and[ yet] he hath opened mine eyes.

The man replied,“ This is a remarkable thing, that you don’t know where he comes from, and yet he caused me to see!

The man answered them,“ How amazing! You don’t know where he comes from, yet he opened my eyes.

Jesus had performed so many signs in front of them. But they still would not believe in him.

“ You are Israel’s teacher,” said Jesus.“ Don’t you understand these things?

Blind people receive sight. Disabled people walk. Those who have skin diseases are made‘ clean.’ Deaf people hear. Those who are dead are raised to life. And the good news is preached to those who are poor.

Then the eyes of those who are blind will be opened. The ears of those who can’t hear will be unplugged.

God said,“ Let light shine out of darkness.”( Genesis 1:3) He made his light shine in our hearts. His light gives us the light to know God’s glory. His glory is shown in the face of Christ.

He was amazed because they had no faith. Jesus went around teaching from village to village.

So Jesus replied to the messengers,“ Go back to John. Tell him what you have seen and heard. Blind people receive sight. Disabled people walk. Those who have skin diseases are made‘ clean.’ Deaf people hear. Those who are dead are raised to life. And the good news is announced to those who are poor.

At that time those who can’t hear will hear what is read from the scroll. Those who are blind will come out of gloom and darkness. They will be able to see.

So once more I will shock these people with many wonderful acts. I will destroy the wisdom of those who think they are so wise. I will do away with the cleverness of those who think they are so smart.”
