They insulted him and said,“ You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.

他們就罵他說：「你是他的門徒；我們是摩西的門徒。

他們就罵他：「你是他的門徒，而我們是摩西的門徒。

他們就罵他：「你是他的門徒，而我們是摩西的門徒。

他們就罵他：「你才是祂的門徒！我們是摩西的門徒。

他們就罵他，說：“你才是他的門徒，我們是摩西的門徒。

他們就辱罵他說：『你、是那個人的門徒，我們、乃是摩西的門徒。

他們就辱罵他，說：「你才是那個人的門徒！我們是摩西的門徒！

眾詬之曰、爾乃其徒、我儕摩西徒也、

眾詬之曰、爾乃其門徒、我儕則摩西門徒、

眾詈之曰、爾乃其門徒、我儕則摩西之門徒、

彼等詈曰：『汝乃斯人之徒、而吾輩則摩西之徒也。

Then they hurled insults at him and said,“ You are this fellow’s disciple! We are disciples of Moses!

Then they began to attack him with their words.“ You are this fellow’s disciple!” they said.“ We are disciples of Moses!

And they reviled him, saying,“ You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.

Then they cursed him and said,“ You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses!

They ridiculed him:“ You’re that man’s disciple, but we’re Moses’s disciples.

They spoke abusively to him and said,“ You are His disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.

Then they reviled him and said,“ You are His disciple, but we are Moses’ disciples.

And they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are disciples of Moses.

They ridiculed him:“ You’re that man’s disciple, but we’re Moses’ disciples.

Then they reviled him, and said, Thou art his disciple; but we are Moses’ disciples.

They heaped insults on him, saying,“ You are his disciple! We are disciples of Moses!

Indeed you bear the name of a Jew, rest on the law, glory in God,

The Pharisees therefore answered them,“ You aren’t also led astray, are you?Have any of the rulers believed in him, or of the Pharisees?But this multitude that doesn’t know the law is cursed.”Nicodemus( he who came to him by night, being one of them) said to them,“ Does our law judge a man, unless it first hears from him personally and knows what he does?”They answered him,“ Are you also from Galilee? Search, and see that no prophet has arisen out of Galilee.”

Then they secretly induced men to say,“ We have heard him speak blasphemous words against Moses and God.”They stirred up the people, the elders, and the scribes, and came against him and seized him, then brought him in to the council,and set up false witnesses who said,“ This man never stops speaking blasphemous words against this holy place and the law.For we have heard him say that this Jesus of Nazareth will destroy this place, and will change the customs which Moses delivered to us.”

“ Don’t think that I will accuse you to the Father. There is one who accuses you, even Moses, on whom you have set your hope.For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote about me.But if you don’t believe his writings, how will you believe my words?”

We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.

“ Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Those who passed by blasphemed him, wagging their heads,

“ Listen to me, you who know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law. Don’t fear the reproach of men, and don’t be dismayed at their insults.

They answered him,“ You were altogether born in sins, and do you teach us?” Then they threw him out.

When he was cursed, he didn’t curse back. When he suffered, he didn’t threaten, but committed himself to him who judges righteously.

Didn’t Moses give you the law, and yet none of you keeps the law? Why do you seek to kill me?”

nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortionists, will inherit God’s Kingdom.
