Then they summoned the man who used to be blind a second time and said to him,“ Promise before God to tell the truth. We know that this man is a sinner.”

於是若輩復召夙盲之人、而語之曰：『汝其以天主光榮為懷！吾人明知彼乃罪人。』

A second time they summoned the man who had been blind.“ Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said.“ We know this man is a sinner.”

Again the Pharisees called the man who had been blind to come to them.“ Give glory to God by telling the truth!” they said.“ We know that the man who healed you is a sinner.”

So for the second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him,“ Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”

So for the second time they called in the man who had been blind and told him,“ God should get the glory for this, because we know this man Jesus is a sinner.”

Then again called they the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give God the praise: we know that this man is a sinner.

So Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, honor the LORD God of Israel and give him praise! Tell me what you did; don’t hide anything from me!”

Then some of the Pharisees began to say,“ This man is not from God, because he does not observe the Sabbath.” But others said,“ How can a man who is a sinner perform such miraculous signs?” Thus there was a division among them.

They will put you out of the synagogue, yet a time is coming when the one who kills you will think he is offering service to God.

They replied,“ If this man were not a criminal, we would not have handed him over to you.”

so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

For I can testify that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not in line with the truth.For ignoring the righteousness that comes from God, and seeking instead to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.For Christ is the end of the law, with the result that there is righteousness for everyone who believes.

Hear the word of the LORD, you who respect what he has to say! Your countrymen, who hate you and exclude you, supposedly for the sake of my name, say,“ May the LORD be glorified, then we will witness your joy.” But they will be put to shame.

When the chief priests and their officers saw him, they shouted out,“ Crucify him! Crucify him!” Pilate said,“ You take him and crucify him! Certainly I find no reason for an accusation against him!”

Present to God a thank-offering! Repay your vows to the sovereign One!Pray to me when you are in trouble! I will deliver you, and you will honor me!”

Jesus answered,“ I am not possessed by a demon, but I honor my Father– and yet you dishonor me.

I will not speak with you much longer, for the ruler of this world is coming. He has no power over me,

Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw this, he said to himself,“ If this man were a prophet, he would know who and what kind of woman this is who is touching him, that she is a sinner.”

God made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.

But the Pharisees and the experts in the law were complaining,“ This man welcomes sinners and eats with them.”

And they crucified two outlaws with him, one on his right and one on his left.

Who among you can prove me guilty of any sin? If I am telling you the truth, why don’t you believe me?

And when the people saw it, they all complained,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner.”

You should make images of the sores and images of the mice that are destroying the land. You should honor the God of Israel. Perhaps he will release his grip on you, your gods, and your land.Why harden your hearts like the Egyptians and Pharaoh did? When God treated them harshly, didn’t the Egyptians send the Israelites on their way?So now go and make a new cart. Get two cows that have calves and that have never had a yoke placed on them. Harness the cows to the cart and take their calves from them back to their stalls.Then take the ark of the LORD and place it on the cart, and put in a chest beside it the gold objects you are sending to him as a guilt offering. You should then send it on its way.But keep an eye on it. If it should go up by the way of its own border to Beth Shemesh, then he has brought this great calamity on us. But if that is not the case, then we will know that it was not his hand that struck us; rather, it just happened to us by accident.”
