於是若輩復召夙盲之人、而語之曰：『汝其以天主光榮為懷！吾人明知彼乃罪人。』

A second time they summoned the man who had been blind.“ Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said.“ We know this man is a sinner.”

Again the Pharisees called the man who had been blind to come to them.“ Give glory to God by telling the truth!” they said.“ We know that the man who healed you is a sinner.”

So for the second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him,“ Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”

Then Joshua said to Achan,“ My son, I implore you, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and give praise to Him; and tell me now what you have done. Do not hide it from me.”

Therefore some of the Pharisees were saying,“ This man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.” But others were saying,“ How can a man who is a sinner perform such signs?” And there was dissension among them.

They will ban you from the synagogue, yet an hour is coming for everyone who kills you to think that he is offering a service to God.

For what the Law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh,

They answered and said to him,“ If this Man were not a criminal, we would not have handed Him over to you.”

so that all will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him.

For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.For not knowing about God’s righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.For Christ is the end of the Law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

Hear the word of the Lord, you who tremble at His word:“ Your brothers who hate you, who exclude you on account of My name, Have said,‘ Let the Lord be glorified, so that we may see your joy.’ But they will be put to shame.

So when the chief priests and the officers saw Him, they shouted, saying,“ Crucify, crucify!” Pilate* said to them,“ Take Him yourselves and crucify Him; for I find no grounds for charges in His case!”

Offer God a sacrifice of thanksgiving And pay your vows to the Most High;Call upon Me on the day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you will honor Me.”

Jesus answered,“ I do not have a demon; on the contrary, I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me.

I will not speak much more with you, for the ruler of the world is coming, and he has nothing in regard to Me,

Now when the Pharisee who had invited Him saw this, he said to himself,“ If this man were a prophet He would know who and what sort of person this woman is who is touching Him, that she is a sinner!”

He made Him who knew no sin to be sin in our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

And both the Pharisees and the scribes began to complain, saying,“ This man receives sinners and eats with them.”

And they* crucified two rebels with Him, one on His right and one on His left.

Which one of you convicts Me of sin? If I speak truth, why do you not believe Me?

When the people saw this, they all began to complain, saying,“ He has gone in to be the guest of a man who is a sinner!”

So you shall make likenesses of your tumors and likenesses of your mice that are ruining the land, and you shall give glory to the God of Israel; perhaps He will lighten His hand from you, your gods, and your land.Why then do you harden your hearts as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When He had severely dealt with them, did they not let the people go, and they left?Now then, take and prepare a new cart and two milk cows on which there has never been a yoke; and hitch the cows to the cart and take their calves back home, away from them.Then take the ark of the Lord and place it on the cart; and put the articles of gold which you return to Him as a guilt offering in a saddlebag by its side. Then send it away that it may go.But watch: if it goes up by the way of its own territory to Beth shemesh, then He has done this great evil to us. But if not, then we will know that it was not His hand that struck us; it happened to us by chance.”
