So they called a second time the man that was blind, and said unto him, Give glory to God: we know that this man is a sinner.

猶太人又呼素瞽者曰、爾宜歸榮上帝、我知斯人乃罪人也、

𠵽唎㘔人復呼素瞽者曰、宜歸榮上帝、我知此人罪人也、

法利賽人復呼前為瞽者曰、爾當歸榮於天主、我知彼乃罪人、

於是若輩復召夙盲之人、而語之曰：『汝其以天主光榮為懷！吾人明知彼乃罪人。』

A second time they summoned the man who had been blind.“ Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said.“ We know this man is a sinner.”

Again the Pharisees called the man who had been blind to come to them.“ Give glory to God by telling the truth!” they said.“ We know that the man who healed you is a sinner.”

So for the second time they called the man who had been blind and said to him,“ Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner.”

For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.For being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.For Christ is the end of the law unto righteousness to every one that believeth.

Hear the word of Jehovah, ye that tremble at his word: Your brethren that hate you, that cast you out for my name’s sake, have said, Let Jehovah be glorified, that we may see your joy; but it is they that shall be put to shame.

When therefore the chief priests and the officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him! Pilate saith unto them, Take him yourselves, and crucify him: for I find no crime in him.

Offer unto God the sacrifice of thanksgiving; And pay thy vows unto the Most High;And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Jesus answered, I have not a demon; but I honor my Father, and ye dishonor me.

I will no more speak much with you, for the prince of the world cometh: and he hath nothing in me;

Now when the Pharisee that had bidden him saw it, he spake within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what manner of woman this is that toucheth him, that she is a sinner.

Him who knew no sin he made to be sin on our behalf; that we might become the righteousness of God in him.

And both the Pharisees and the scribes murmured, saying, This man receiveth sinners, and eateth with them.

And with him they crucify two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.

Which of you convicteth me of sin? If I say truth, why do ye not believe me?

And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone in to lodge with a man that is a sinner.

Wherefore ye shall make images of your tumors, and images of your mice that mar the land; and ye shall give glory unto the God of Israel: peradventure he will lighten his hand from off you, and from off your gods, and from off your land.Wherefore then do ye harden your hearts, as the Egyptians and Pharaoh hardened their hearts? When he had wrought wonderfully among them, did they not let the people go, and they departed?Now therefore take and prepare you a new cart, and two milch kine, on which there hath come no yoke; and tie the kine to the cart, and bring their calves home from them;and take the ark of Jehovah, and lay it upon the cart; and put the jewels of gold, which ye return him for a trespass- offering, in a coffer by the side thereof; and send it away, that it may go.And see; if it goeth up by the way of its own border to Beth- shemesh, then he hath done us this great evil: but if not, then we shall know that it is not his hand that smote us; it was a chance that happened to us.
