于是他们又问那瞎眼的：“既然他开了你的眼睛，那么你说他是什么人？”他说：“是一位先知。”

復謂瞽者曰、彼既啟爾目、爾謂其為何如人、曰、先知也、

又問曰、既明爾目、爾以為如何人、曰、先知者、

眾復問之曰、使爾目明者、爾言其為何如人、曰、先知也、

故又詢盲者曰：『汝謂啟汝目者、為何如人耶？』曰：『先知也。』

Then they turned again to the blind man,“ What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.” The man replied,“ He is a prophet.”

Then they turned again to the blind man.“ What do you have to say about him?” they asked.“ It was your eyes he opened.” The man replied,“ He is a prophet.”

So they said again to the blind man,“ What do you say about him, since he has opened your eyes?” He said,“ He is a prophet.”

Then the Pharisees again questioned the man who had been blind and demanded,“ What’s your opinion about this man who healed you?” The man replied,“ I think he must be a prophet.”

Again they asked the blind man,“ What do you say about him, since he opened your eyes?”“ He’s a prophet,” he said.

So they* said again to the man who was blind,“ What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?” And he said,“ He is a prophet.”

They said to the blind man again,“ What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes?” He said,“ He is a prophet.”

They say therefore unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, in that he opened thine eyes? And he said, He is a prophet.

Again they asked the blind man,“ What do you say about Him, since He opened your eyes?”“ He’s a prophet,” he said.

They say unto the blind man again, What sayest thou of him, that he hath opened thine eyes? He said, He is a prophet.

So again they asked the man who used to be blind,“ What do you say about him, since he caused you to see?”“ He is a prophet,” the man replied.

Therefore they asked the blind man again,“ What do you say about him, because he opened your eyes?” He said,“ He is a prophet.”

“ Sir,” the woman said,“ I can see that you are a prophet. (niv)

After the people saw the sign Jesus performed, they began to say,“ Surely this is the Prophet who is to come into the world.” (niv)

For Moses said,‘ The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you.Anyone who does not listen to him will be completely cut off from their people.’“ Indeed, beginning with Samuel, all the prophets who have spoken have foretold these days.And you are heirs of the prophets and of the covenant God made with your fathers. The crowds answered,“ This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.” (niv)

“ Fellow Israelites, listen to this: Jesus of Nazareth was a man accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. (niv)

“ What things?” he asked.“ About Jesus of Nazareth,” they replied.“ He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people. (niv)
