When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them,“ Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her.”

They kept asking him questions. So he stood up and said to them,“ Has any one of you not sinned? Then you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

And as they continued to ask him, he stood up and said to them,“ Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”

They kept demanding an answer, so he stood up again and said,“ All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!”

When they persisted in questioning him, he stood up and said to them,“ The one without sin among you should be the first to throw a stone at her.”

Wherefore thou art without excuse, O man, whosoever thou art that judgest: for wherein thou judgest another, thou condemnest thyself; for thou that judgest dost practise the same things.And we know that the judgment of God is according to truth against them that practise such things.And reckonest thou this, O man, who judgest them that practise such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?

At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is to die be put to death; at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.The hand of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hand of all the people. So thou shalt put away the evil from the midst of thee.

And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth proceeded a sharp two- edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

And out of his mouth proceedeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

The officers answered, Never man so spake.

Is not my word like fire? saith Jehovah; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

There is that speaketh rashly like the piercings of a sword; But the tongue of the wise is health.

But if all prophesy, and there come in one unbelieving or unlearned, he is reproved by all, he is judged by all;the secrets of his heart are made manifest; and so he will fall down on his face and worship God, declaring that God is among you indeed.
