When they came up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord snatched Philip away. The eunuch never saw him again but went on his way rejoicing.Meanwhile, Philip found himself farther north at the town of Azotus. He preached the Good News there and in every town along the way until he came to Caesarea.

The man didn’t know, for Jesus had disappeared into the crowd.

Jumping up, they mobbed him and forced him to the edge of the hill on which the town was built. They intended to push him over the cliff,but he passed right through the crowd and went on his way.

Then they put their hands over their ears and began shouting. They rushed at him

As a result, Jesus stopped his public ministry among the people and left Jerusalem. He went to a place near the wilderness, to the village of Ephraim, and stayed there with his disciples.
