I am not trying to get praise for myself. There is one who demands it, and he also judges.

I am not seeking glory for myself; but there is one who seeks it, and he is the judge.

“ I do not accept praise from people,

Jesus replied,“ If I glorify myself, my glory is worthless. The one who glorifies me is my Father, about whom you people say,‘ He is our God.’

If anyone hears my words and does not obey them, I do not judge him. For I have not come to judge the world, but to save the world.The one who rejects me and does not accept my words has a judge; the word I have spoken will judge him at the last day.

For the Father loves the Son and shows him everything he does, and will show him greater deeds than these, so that you will be amazed.For just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so also the Son gives life to whomever he wishes.Furthermore, the Father does not judge anyone, but has assigned all judgment to the Son,so that all people will honor the Son just as they honor the Father. The one who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

The person who speaks on his own authority desires to receive honor for himself; the one who desires the honor of the one who sent him is a man of integrity, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

“ Do not suppose that I will accuse you before the Father. The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have placed your hope.
