Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word,[ then] are ye my disciples indeed;

耶穌對信祂的猶太人說：「你們若持守我的道，就真是我的門徒了。

於是耶穌對信了他的猶太人說：“你們若持守我的道，就真是我的門徒了；

於是耶穌對已經信他的猶太人說：『你們若持守着我的道，就真是我的門徒了；

於是耶穌對信他的猶太人說：「你們如果住在我的話語中，就真是我的門徒了，

遂謂信己之猶太人曰、爾若恆於我道、則誠我徒也、

乃語猶太之信者曰、爾存我道、誠我徒也、

耶穌謂信己之猶太人曰、爾若恆居於我道、是誠為我徒也、

耶穌因謂之曰：『爾能恪守吾道、是真吾徒、

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said,“ If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

Jesus spoke to the Jews who had believed him.“ If you obey my teaching,” he said,“ you are really my disciples.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

Jesus said to the people who believed in him,“ You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples.

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples;

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,“ If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples.

Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him,“ If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples

Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him,“ If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.I am the vine, ye[ are] the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast[ them] into the fire, and they are burned.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned[ them];

Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

From that[ time] many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away?Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God.Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil?He spake of Judas Iscariot[ the son] of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

If ye will fear the LORD, and serve him, and obey his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then shall both ye and also the king that reigneth over you continue following the LORD your God:

If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and[ be] not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard,[ and] which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end;

But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth[ therein], he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in[ his] goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

Now the just shall live by faith: but if[ any man] draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

Confirming the souls of the disciples,[ and] exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

Notwithstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if they continue in faith and charity and holiness with sobriety.

Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.

Having therefore obtained help of God, I continue unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying none other things than those which the prophets and Moses did say should come:

Honour widows that are widows indeed.But if any widow have children or nephews, let them learn first to shew piety at home, and to requite their parents: for that is good and acceptable before God.Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, trusteth in God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
