Jesus therefore said to those Jews that had believed him, If ye abide in my word, then are ye truly my disciples;

於是耶穌對已經信他的猶太人說：『你們若持守着我的道，就真是我的門徒了；

於是耶穌對信他的猶太人說：「你們如果住在我的話語中，就真是我的門徒了，

遂謂信己之猶太人曰、爾若恆於我道、則誠我徒也、

乃語猶太之信者曰、爾存我道、誠我徒也、

耶穌謂信己之猶太人曰、爾若恆居於我道、是誠為我徒也、

耶穌因謂之曰：『爾能恪守吾道、是真吾徒、

To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said,“ If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples.

Jesus spoke to the Jews who had believed him.“ If you obey my teaching,” he said,“ you are really my disciples.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you abide in my word, you are truly my disciples,

Jesus said to the people who believed in him,“ You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings.

Then Jesus said to the Jews who had believed him,“ If you continue in my word, you really are my disciples.

So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples;

Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him,“ If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.

So Jesus said to the Jews who had believed Him,“ If you continue in My word, you really are My disciples.

Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word,[ then] are ye my disciples indeed;

Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him,“ If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples

Jesus therefore said to those Jews who had believed him,“ If you remain in my word, then you are truly my disciples.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; so neither can ye, except ye abide in me.I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same beareth much fruit: for apart from me ye can do nothing.If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatsoever ye will, and it shall be done unto you.Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; and so shall ye be my disciples.Even as the Father hath loved me, I also have loved you: abide ye in my love.

But abide thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

Take heed to thyself, and to thy teaching. Continue in these things; for in doing this thou shalt save both thyself and them that hear thee.

Upon this many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him.Jesus said therefore unto the twelve, Would ye also go away?Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.And we have believed and know that thou art the Holy One of God.Jesus answered them, Did not I choose you the twelve, and one of you is a devil?Now he spake of Judas the son of Simon Iscariot, for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

If ye will fear Jehovah, and serve him, and hearken unto his voice, and not rebel against the commandment of Jehovah, and both ye and also the king that reigneth over you be followers of Jehovah your God, well:

if so be that ye continue in the faith, grounded and stedfast, and not moved away from the hope of the gospel which ye heard, which was preached in all creation under heaven; whereof I Paul was made a minister.

for we are become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our confidence firm unto the end:

But he that looketh into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and so continueth, being not a hearer that forgetteth but a doer that worketh, this man shall be blessed in his doing.

to them that by patience in well- doing seek for glory and honor and incorruption, eternal life:

Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold, an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!

Behold then the goodness and severity of God: toward them that fell, severity; but toward thee, God’s goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.

For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.

But my righteous one shall live by faith: And if he shrink back, my soul hath no pleasure in him.But we are not of them that shrink back unto perdition; but of them that have faith unto the saving of the soul.

But he that endureth to the end, the same shall be saved.

If therefore the Son shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

As for you, let that abide in you which ye heard from the beginning. If that which ye heard from the beginning abide in you, ye also shall abide in the Son, and in the Father.

confirming the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that through many tribulations we must enter into the kingdom of God.

Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers In the day that I took them by the hand to lead them forth out of the land of Egypt; For they continued not in my covenant, And I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

but she shall be saved through her child- bearing, if they continue in faith and love and sanctification with sobriety.

Now when the synagogue broke up, many of the Jews and of the devout proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas; who, speaking to them, urged them to continue in the grace of God.

Having therefore obtained the help that is from God, I stand unto this day testifying both to small and great, saying nothing but what the prophets and Moses did say should come;

Honor widows that are widows indeed.But if any widow hath children or grandchildren, let them learn first to show piety towards their own family, and to requite their parents: for this is acceptable in the sight of God.Now she that is a widow indeed, and desolate, hath her hope set on God, and continueth in supplications and prayers night and day.
